  1. give it a few days to a week. same thing is going on up here at the stick marsh. bass get tough after a lot of rain. it always gets better. good luck.
  2. all of my spinning reels are Penns,I fish a lot in Mosquito Lagoon and have never had a problem with one.I use the older ssg models 420's 430's and 440's love em. the 420 and 430 models are my bass reels.
  3. go online and look up local bass clubs,tournament organizations etc. in Fl. the age limit is 16 to be in a tourney. most clubs will let you fish as an observer until you turn 16. good luck.

  11. Abu would be the best bet on a heavy reel that would work for what you're doing. 5500 model would be what I would use.
  12. Baby 1-,or Bill Lewis echo 1.75. they just work for me.
  13. oh yeah,Johnson silver minnow. have a spinnerbait blade on one also,works great in pad fields.
  14. I've had one for 6 years now and have had no issues at all.clean it once a year and that's all I've done.

  17. started on a 202.then a model 33. have used just about every model Zebco makes. Woo Daves won a BassMasters Classic on one. by the way that was a great post...thanks.
  18. worms, worms and worms........all kidding aside........any soft plastic is a good way to go,texas rigged,ned,wacky etc. plenty of tips on this forum(best forum period) youtube etc. good luck and welcome.

  20. I have 2 stick it's. they are lightweight,cheap. work great. holds my boat secure. they just work......
  21. bigger is better in this case.longer battery life, motor won't have to work as hard.extra thrust will come in handy.always better to have and not need it than need it and not have it..........
