  1. Actually the members of the club are very respectful of the co-angler. The issue is that no matter how reasonable the boater is they are generally in an advantageous position in most cases regardless of how fair they try to be. In 4 years I have felt back boated maybe once or twice. In those cases I don't even think it was intentional. Just the case of the boater focusing on their fishing .... You are always going to find those moments.
  2. I fish in a club which is this way as well. Get's tiring to donate my money each tournament with little chance of winning anything. Co-anglers can still do well in this format however the odds are definitely not in your favor.
  3. I'm a big fan if Irish Whiskey ... Jameson Gold Label for me on the rocks or neat.
  4. Man oh man ... I am so sorry for your loss.
  5. Just got back from the OBX. Arrived last Saturday. Sunday through Wednesday the fishing was fantastic. Biting the double drop with mullet for bait on top, shrimp on bottom. My big accomplishment was catching a keeper Red Drum. My friend cooked it up for us and I must say that is was the best tasting fish I have EVER had. Cooking it within an hour or 2 of catching it makes quite the difference. A storm came through Wednesday evening with winds in excess of 20mph at times. Totally killed the bite. FWIW - I also caught my first red on artificials. Gulp mullet dragging it back. That was cool. I think I found a new way to love fishing.
  6. Use InvizX for all my baitcasters and for leaders on my spinning.

  16. I am a huge fan of the Keitech swimbaits ... I pair the swing impacts (regular) with the VMC Half Moon. I also texas rig them with a 1/8 or 3/16 bullet in grass. Go there ... you won't regret it.
