  1. Ya, 6" T-Macs mostly for my worms.
  2. Awesome, thats what I was leaning too. I hardly ever throw T-Rigs, I want to get better with the T-Rig next year.
  3. Any suggestoins for a hook size for (EWG and Straight Shank) 3" and 4" Pit boss/Beaver Style baits and for 6-7" worms (Off set worm). Going to work on getting better with T-Rigs next year.
  4. Gen 3 Revo's have terrible quality control. If you're lucky enough to get one that isn't trash they're decent reels.
  5. The 50e has a smaller spool and profile, aswell the 50e is probably the best bang for buck reel for sub 200.
  6. Abu Garcia's new Gen 3's have terrible terrible TERRIBLE quality control.
  7. 1. Buy a blank mold. 2. Find the hook you want to use. 3. Do some measuring and figure out how the lead will look around the hook. 4. Get some heat setting clay and cut off pieces of it to match the lead. 5. Model your jig head around the hook with the clay. 6. Heat the clay so it becomes hard. 7. Bring the jigs you've made with the clay to a machine shop with your blank and get them to cut the mold with a CNC machine.
  8. I personally think the Met13 is hands down the best stock reel ever made, sub $500.
  9. 1. 6'10 mlxf spinning for dropshot 2. 6'8 mf / mxf casting for jerkbaits and weightless 3. 7'1mhf casting for jigs, t rigs, spinnerbaits.
  10. Football all day for rocks.
  11. The army taught me this abbreviation to stay warmish during winter exercise. COLD. Clean, stay clean. Overheat, dont overheat. Layers, dress in layers. Dry, stay dry.
  12. Not an Abu fan, but one main difference is the spiral wrapped carbon the blanks are made out of. Also I think they have a "clicking" locking nut.
  13. I strictly fish bass, once and awhile ill catch a walleye if im drop shoting or ripping a hair jig. Lets just say if that walleye is legal it will never again swim freely l.
  14. Agreed 100, if your gonna fork out the money for a core, you might aswell be patient and save a few more dollars and get the new Met13.
  15. I've been suspicious of this as well. I buy 90% of my fishing stuff online and BPS no longer has the 50 Core or Chronarch. I hope they come out with a ci4+ 50size.
  16. And to get back to your question, think about it. Lets say the average weight of lures you use are 1/2oz, and the average line diameter is about .33mm. Most people can get a good 35-40 yard cast with that setup, a 50 sized Shimano will hold about 85 yards of 12lb test (.33mm) so even if you can cast out more then 40 yards, you're only using half the spool capacity.
  17. All you need in life are 50 and 100 sized Shimanos.
  18. Try it you'll thank me later. Killed it all season with the 1/2 oz one.
  19. Just think about where you usually throw a frog, around green stuff, right? A fish won't know the difference between your braid or a piece of grass.
  20. My PB smb came on a skirtless football jig with a paca sr on it. However I catch more SMB with skirted.
  21. Good parody of "All about that bass"
