  1. Sometimes when I'm so bored and can't go outside to cast or hang out i'l literally go upstairs, tie a dog toy to the end of an old rod, and cast down from the balcony while the dog tries to bite the toy. Definitely a condition.
  2. Hello all, I have been fishing since I could hold a rod, and I would call myself an experienced fisherman, however, I have never been in any fishing tourneys, and would like to get started. Can anyone give me some basic advice for getting started?
  3. Anybody ever fish here? Got any tips or secret spots?
  4. Actually, I think you can get them at Tackle Warehouse.
  5. If you're going to get the Plano bag, you should probably go to Cabelas soon, because online they don't have it anymore, and I'm guessing what's left in the retail stores is going to be gone soon.
  6. Yea, any Abu Garcia rod I would go for, they are very nice IMO. If you're looking for a nice rod thats on sale, the Cabelas Tourney Trail IM7 is a great rod, especially for a beginner. I think it's like 30 bucks now, used to be around 70.
  7. I also have 7 boxes. They are divided like this. 1. Shallow diving crankbaits (7ft. and down) 2 .Deep diving crankbaits (8ft. and up) 3. Jigs 4. Soft plastics (worms, lizards, creatures, soft swimbaits) 5. Terminal tackle 6.Topwater baits 7. Jig trailers
  8. As cool as the Cabelas advanced angler bags are, I went to Cabelas the other day and these bags just aren't as nice as I was hoping. The quality just wasn't there, and the large size only came with 4 small boxes. If you want a really nice, well made, and cheap bag, go to Cabelas and pick up a Plano Softsider x 3700. This bag comes with 4 large boxes, 1 medium box, and 2 small boxes. It has plenty of space, and it is an all around, good bag.
  9. I take mine off.
  10. Good thing I live 4 miles from a Dick's!
  11. Well, I am a pretty organized person, so I don't usually find unused baits at the bottom, but it's always exciting to find a dried up mealworm or a melted skirt!
  12. 1/2oz.- 3/4oz. flipping jig with Berkley Chigger chunk as a trailer.
  13. X2 always a good idea to keep your tackle up to par.
  14. Hello! I am an experienced fisherman from PA. I fish almost twice a week in the spring, summer and fall. I am almost 14 years of age and I have been fishing since I could hold a rod. I've heard good things about these forums, hopefully I can find them out for myself!
  15. Hey, I fish at Waallenpaupack too!
