I completely agree. I wear fishing jerseys almost every time I go fishing. Hell, I don't even fish tournaments! I just think that they're very comfortable. (Plus, they make you look pretty sweet.) PS. Why would any company in its right mind complain about free advertising?

Both are very nice rods, and just like iabass8 said, you are only going to get biased answers. I personally prefer St. Croix for the value, but that's just me.

Yeah, the Berkley Amp sounds good around your price range, also, the QX36 you suggested is a good rod for your limit.

I like the idea, however, the only junior tournaments near me are those "kid fun fests" where a bunch of 7 year olds and their grandpas gather tightly packed around a small stream fishing for very tiny trout.

Hello everyone, just wanted to ask a question. When not in use, my rods stand tight in a corner of my room. They are standing upright, not leaning that much. The other day, I looked down the blank of the rod, and noticed that the rod tip bends a bit to the right. Any thoughts?

Yeah, tackle warehouse is good, I also like to shop at Dick's. Dick's has a lot of great products at great prices. (At least the one near me does.) I get all my stuff there.
