Well being that I graduate high school next friday night, i guess its time for me to start thinking about what i want to do with my life. I currently work at a Midas here in my hometown where i change oil, do tires, brakes all that and i thought that is what i wanted to do for the rest of my life but after doing it for three years i have already decided it is NOT what i want to do. What are some of your careers, and do you enjoy them?

Usually if fish are relating to docks, they are somewhere under them therefore if they are fairly shallow (10ft) and you skip a jig, floating worm, shakey head, fluke, whatever it may be, more than likely the bass are going to hear it and see it come in. Whether they bite it or not is a different story, therefore you have to figure out what they want. Some of my best fishing is prespawn when bass are under docks by just casting jerkbaits around them and crossing the corners.. Many different ways to fish docks, you just have to figure out what is working for you for the day, time, temperature, and stage of spawn.

You would definitely want DS and SS at the console so you can scan and drive ..

I had a motorguide 54lb on my 17' bass boat and it pulled it very well. Like said above check the one at walmart, probably the same thing i had. Very good tough trolling motor.

Have any of you had a Ranger 487vs? If so how'd you like it?

I am currently sealing the deal selling my 17' astro with a 115 mercury, and i am looking to upgrade soon. Just needing some advice. I am thinking i am going to spend about 12k at MAX. Heres what i want in a boat: 1. 1995 and up. 2. 18'-20'+ Preferably 20' 3. 200hp+ 4. Dual axle trailer 5. Dual console (Optional) I am a very picky person and know what i want and i will wait til i find it to buy it just like i did my first boat, but i found a 1999 Skeeter ZX202c with a Yamaha Vmax 200 and i am already in love. I was curious to see if any of you run Skeeters and Yammies and if so what you think about them. Another thing, what is your opinion on a dual console? I just think it would kind've be a luxury to have but i dont know and thats why i put optional . Thanks in advance.

I recently upgraded to a Lowrance Elite 5 DSI Color and Chartplotter Combo, and let me tell you i regret it. I was looking for more of a traditional 2D sonar and didnt know it. Dont get me wrong the DSI is great for brushpiles, rocks, and such but as far as actually marking fish its not as good as the traditional 2D.. Keep that in mind.

I have a 7'6 Duckett Crankin Rod that i use for exactly what you just said and i love it! Im sure there are plenty of good rods out there, thats just what i use and i know i like it. Not saying its the only good one.

Caught my personal best Largemouth today. Skipped a jig (From Cadman) under a dock and crunch she was on! If filled out thicker i think she would have been more in the 5-6lb range, but on scales she only had 4.76.. Not as big as i thought she was but still the biggest ive ever caught!

I dont make turds of the bass i catch unless they are spotted or hybrid. Then they might get eaten some. Other than that they swim away good as new but maybe a broke jaw. Now the deer i kill are a different story...
