Caught this fish early this morning on a LuckyCraft Staysee 90 on a secondary point. My best to date 4lbs even according to the Boga Grip.

Tournament Help
Nope they kept it their secret, which is understandable. They had a 5.4 spot for a kicker though

Tournament Help
tried jerkbaits mostly but couldnt get bit. Then found some largemouth under very shallow docks so we skipped flukes and thats how we caught our only three fish. very tough for us, but the winner managed to have a 16lb bag!

Show your ride...
WOW! ... Nothing like a nice clean Bullet. I fish with a buddy of mine that has a bullet and all ive ever heard was how rough they are but when i ride in his about 74mph passing rangers like theyre sitting still it ALWAYS makes me want one! Love all the deck room as well. Total Performance For sure!!

First Tournament Of The Year. Not So Good
Fished yesterday here on Blue Ridge Lake in Fannin County Georgia. Blasted off at daylight. Only 8 boats showed up (because of the ugly weather i guess) Fished in the rain all morning without a bite. Weigh in is at two and we didnt catch a fish until about 11:30 and my partner caught one fish under a shallow dock on a fluke, i lipped it for him and put it in the livewell. 2 pounder and said cast back to that same spot, he did and caught another 2 pounder looked like twins. at this point i thought we had figured em out and might actually be able to get a limit, but after fishing that dock for a little bit longer without any bites we tried some other docks with the same set up and he caught one more just under two pounds. At that time it was pushing about 1:30 so we went and looked for one more lucky dock but couldnt catch any more. Winners had 16.04 with a 5.4 spot for big fish (New lake record). But being new to tournament fishing, we went ahead and weighed in what we had since we worked so hard for them and we had 5.9... Kind of a slap in the face but like i said were new to tournament fishing and we have plenty more chances to do better. Theres my tournament report. How did your Tournament go this weekend??

Tournament Help
I am fishing our first tournament of the year this Saturday. Problem is I haven't fished this lake in about two months. So I wanted to get an opinion on what you guys would do. Weather has been relatively warm past two weekends moving the fish up but this Saturday its supposed to be cold and rainy, about 50. I plan on throwing crankbaits and jerk baits but you guys have any other tips or advice? The lake is blue ridge lake in Georgia if you want to google a map of it. Thanks in advance.

Finally A Guided Trip To Okeechobee!!
GOOD! I was kinda nervous as fishing slows down here around that time but I've been told that it will be awesome on the O. Another question, is Water Skiing and Wake boarding popular on Okeechobee? Because ill be there memorial day weekend and if its anything like it is here, you don't want to be on the lake. I don't figure it is because Okeechobee is so shallow....

Finally A Guided Trip To Okeechobee!!
I will be out on may26th. I plan on fishing artificial because that's just what I prefer. I do plan on taking my own rods and reels just for preference but I'm not dead set on it. Thanks for all the advice.

Finally A Guided Trip To Okeechobee!!
Since i will be graduating from high school this May, i was going to ask my parents for maybe a new gun or something like that, but instead i got prices on a guided trip to the Big O and they went for it. Dad called yesterday and booked it for the Sunday after i graduate. We will be going out with Captain Mark Shepard for a full day. I absolutely can not wait. I will definitely post pics when it comes time. Any advice?

Best Fishing Magazine?
I personally love Bassmaster, but i have one thing about it that really irks me, and that is the "Lunker Club" I love the idea, but i wish the fished were weighed and certified. It makes me so ill to see a picture of a 7lbs Smallie that is really no more than 3lbs. Anybody else notice this??

Boat Storage Unit (Should I Or Not?)
I ran across a movable storage unit on Craigslist that was 12'x28' and i decided that it would be perfect to store my boat and fishing accessories in. Emailed the guy today and got a reply that the posting had been deleted. So ive decided to have one built for myself and get it exactly how i want it. Im thinking do a 12' X 24' (24' to make it even and not waste supplies / save $$) With one side door on the rear side and a garage door on the front with maybe one window. Being movable it will have a wood floor and metal siding and roof. I got a buddy that is willing to help me and get me going and let me go from there. Problem is, It is going to be about $2500 and i dont know if i (Being an 18 year old boy) should invest this much money into this. I feel like i should because it will be movable to where when i get a house of my own i can take it with me, and i feel like i could keep my boat nice and clean and organized and have all my stuff to where i was actually know where its at. I was just wanting some more opinions on it to see what you guys think... What would you or wouldnt you do? What do you guys think about me being an 18yr old and investing 2500 into a storage building. Just a little nervous about it. Thanks in advance!!!

How I Organize My Worms (Shower Curtain Holders)
Yea, well at least one side of it, but removing it is simple because you can flip all the others to the other side, pop the ring open slide the bag you want off and get a worm out. You usually need more than one worm anyways so i usually take the whole bag to the front of the boat with me when i really get on them.

How I Organize My Worms (Shower Curtain Holders)
I just read in my little Bassmaster 154 tips to save you money book this idea so i tried it and so far i really like it. You take your worms and organize them however you want and put them on Shower Curtain Holders. I have my organized like Shakeyhead worms, trick worms, lizards, flukes, roboworms, frogs, and so on. You could go by color, brand or whatever you like but i love how mine are so far. Saves a lot of time searching through worms. And the last picture is just my terminal box i organized today. Sorted out my hooks a little bit better and threw away old rusty ones. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/uploads/gallery/album_598/gallery_41112_598_571318.jpg http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/uploads/gallery/album_598/gallery_41112_598_313694.jpg http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/uploads/gallery/album_598/gallery_41112_598_530606.jpg http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/uploads/gallery/album_599/gallery_41112_599_617750.jpg
