  1. I have a spin reel with 20 lb braid(6 lb dia) i was wondering if I could tie on 10 lb mono leader or copoly. Didnt know if line size dia made a diffrence or not . Thank you Ed
  2. I use different knots. I just started using the Uni knot or Duncan knot. Really easy seems super strong and a small compact knot. I also use Palomar and double San Diego jam knot. Google different knot that's where I saw Shawn Grigsby do the double San Diego jam knot for fluorocarbon . All seem to work for braid. Ed
  3. So I guess this means we are all really screwed if they can see our line . Seeing big shinny hooks should be easy then. Maybe someone should come up with flat moss green or flat black hooks . Ed

  5. I keep reading articles of how to improve your drag. I was wondering if anyone has polished there drag washers and did the extra effort make a difference. 8. Thanks for all the replys. Thinking either copoly line or braid with copoly leader.I did read that adding a filler line ,cheap mono 10 lb or so 1/3 of the spool then go with braid it helps in not cutting into spool.
  9. Well after pre shopping at BPS for spring sale I will definitely be trying to get the Bionic baitcaster combo. This will be my first baitcaster I was wondering what line . It will be a all around setup.dont have enough money to spend on bunch of rods and reels for different lures I throw. Think I already ruled out flourocarbon because of price and water we fish in isn't that clear. Thanks Ed
