How fast were you working the trigs and jigs? I would have also thrown a jerkbait. Don't worry about it though, we all get skunked an it is no fun, just look forward to your next time out.

I'm speaking summer, but I would get a trigged stick bait in a watermelon magic color. This has always worked for me.

I would look into a MH veritas, I recently got one and I love it. It also very sensitive.

I have the revo s and I love it! I was just curious to how much of a upgrade the revo stx is? Is it worth the extra 70 bucks? How well does it perform against the revo s? This wouldn't even be a question if the revo s would come in a greater variety of gear ratios.. Thanks y'all!

I went out yesterday and threw a watermelon magic stik o weightless. Once I got dialed it, that worm was killer, I caught five bass and one was a solid 5.5 lbs. I also caught all 5 bass on the same worm and it is still in one piece today. I was very happy.

I have some finesse worms that are pink, they have produced for me in the past, but still not as well as the more natural colors.

I got skunked the other day as well. I went out the very next day under the exact same conditions and caught 5 good bass. I would try mid afternoon through the evening. The only thing I did the second time that I didn't the first was SLOW way down, almost to an unbearable speed. It took time but it paid off in the end. Good luck!

I tried to fish it by hopping it with long slow hops and then short fast hops and I caught absolutely nothing, not even a bite. Then I cast it out and it was a bad cast so I began to reel it in fast at a moderate speed like I would a spinnerbait an the WHAM three casts in a row I had a fish. I didn't know if that was the way you were supposed to fish it due to the long tail or if I just got lucky.

How are you actually supposed to fish the zoom u-tail? Thanks y'all!
