  3. Been whipped by both...those 80-120lb tarpon are fiesty! The 130 and fish are bulldogs!! Got into a few permit over 40lbs and they were nasty! Caught several smaller permit and they dont quit lol
  4. If the days leading upto tourny are sunny i would look for rock...especially riprap They hold heat and fish!

  7. Murdered spots on a white/chart pointer 100 last april there for four days straight. Got some good largies up to 4lbs too Got some largies on rip rap with a jig as well. Water was dirty and upper 40s to mid 50s The afternoon bite was best that week

  16. I almost made it...i went to get two spools of braid...got my two spools and then a d**n megabass vision jr jumped into my basket!
  17. I list is mostly empty I need 2 spools of 12# flouro, one spool of 8# A pack or two of hooks Oh not tackle but a humminbird 899 di/si lol
  18. This! I used a stradic FI in salt for many many days...several hundred...and i still use it today for bass Just rinse it after every trip...EVERY TRIP
  19. I tried the drop shot for the first time last year...omg! Now i have a dedicated drop shot combo, a pile of baits and a metric ton of drop shot weights lol I did really well with it and it saved a few days of fishing...almost cashed a few checks with it too...( missed the money by less than 3 ounces twice)

  21. I doubt the box getting dropped hurt that reel...it was most likely a dud. Ive put some reels through some rough times and they still work fine...way worse than ups or usps lol

I do like points...andi fish every avalable inch of em...nomatter the direction lol I do have a couple rules though...spring and fall i concentrate in the sunny sides...summer i concentrate on the shady side. I prefer the deeper side of the point more often than not or unless i know for sure the fish are up shallow
  23. Yeah i have some megabass hardbaits and a pile of luckycraft ( been collecting LC for over ten years) but bread and butter baits all cost under 10bucks My rods and reels are middle of the road. Anywhere from 120-220
