Carb 2 stroke looks like I'll be adding me some seafoam

I recently bought a 6hp Yamaha outboard it had been sitting for roughly a year should there be anything I need to add to gas or any additive and should I do anything to it before I run it any type of cleaning...and yes it does run thanks

OK this is what I got I have a 12' flat bottom Jon boat and I'm looking for a motor I do a lot of fishing at briery and sandy and sometimes at Anna it usually me and my brother in law on boat also fish James river "catfishing" so that being said I can get my hands on a 5hp is that to little of a motor for what I do or should I keep searching for a 6 or 7hp thanks folks

OK so my brother in law has a 12ft flat bottom Jon boat small enough where he loads it in BACK of his truck so he bought a fish finder Saturday so my question is where should we mount the transducer reminder he doesn't have a trailer loads in back of truck so where can we put it so we wont tear it off ALSO we float the James river in it rocks in the james thanks people

I bass fished their a couple times mostly fish briery but I've heard they have plenty of cats usually catfish the James just wanted to catfish somewhere diff

I sure will from what I heard and gathered that they have a good amount of channel cats

Anyone out their know of a good line that has low memory an pretty abrasion resistant I was looking at the p-line cxx but then I see where people were saying it has a lot of memory so what do ya'll suggest
