There is a place near me that is heavily pressured and I hadn't had so much as a nibble whenever I went. Soon after discovering this site I decided to try some senkos out there. After pulling in three 5 lbers a guy came over to ask me what I was using. He told me he didn't know there were fish that big in the lake to which I responded that I didn't know there were fish in the lake.

Caught 3 about this size on a 5" senko today.

Does anybody use the hooks that have a weight welded on?

Someone on the BPS site recommended using a deep belly hook like the Owner beast. I ordered some 4/0 to go with mine.

BPS has these on sale for $2.50 so I picked up a few packs. Can't wait to give them a try.

Didn't find any Megabass lures at my local BPS today

Almost pulled the trigger but the discount brought my total under $50 which made it cheaper after shipping to not use the discount so I'll just hold off until another time.

Had a $10 off $25 coupon for Dick's so I picked up a spool of sufix 832 for my new lew's and a tube of megastrike for $20. Stopped by BPS afterwards and got a few packs of sick fish since they were on sale along with a couple of the rapala scatter rap and a red eye shad to replace the one I lost.

Does $50 free shipping apply to the total before or after the discount?

Caught another little dink on a tube today. Had another one hit my jig as I was reeling it back in but it got off. Also had the wind catch one of my small spinners and take it right into a tree. Why is it when I lose a lure it's always one I just bought?

I've been out a couple times but the weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate much. Caught my first fish of the year thursday (a little dink) on a weightless senko and that's been it.

I was under the assumption that people used 50+lb braid for bass fishing on baitcasters more for manageability rather than the added strength.

I won one of these on Ebay today. I wasn't paying attention when I did because I meant to bid on the TP model but $100 shipped for a $160 reel works for me.
