  1. "Any color will work as long as its green pumpkin ..." hahaha http://www.bassmaster.com/video/stuff-bass-pros-say
  2. Figuring on giving these suckers a try ... and advice on when / where / how to fish them? Much appreciated fellas!
  3. Black Lobina Lures Rico - Hands Down!
  4. i'll tell you a little secret - the absolute best way to rig a senko is ... CONFIDENTLY!! It's extremely obvious that both ways catch a lot of fish , so just do what you have confidence in:) Trust me ... the fish will eat it either way.
  5. ran into the same thing at mine, picked up about eight of em. You're right, this was an amazing deal!
  6. Hey Guys, For my sake, and for the sake of anyone else who might care, what is the best way to contact a moderator if we have a concern/question about something? I don't have anything in particular that needs addressing, but just thought it would be nice to know in case the need ever arises. Thanks Fellas!
  7. In my humble opinion, there is never - I repeat, NEVER - a "good reason to hit her." That's just a messed up way to think, and be careful my friend ... next time you think you have a "good reason to hit her" there might just be another Mr. Short Fish with the honor to jump in to save the girl, and tear your stupid ass up! I mean, Seriously?!?
  8. what do they say ... third times the charm?
  9. lmao ... Gotta love some of these bassresource forum topics
  10. haha I hear ya brother :)And amen to that!
  11. The Little Big town of Blackstone here ... welcome aboard fella
  12. Buddy, those suckers help a hellalot. Keeps your face cool during the summer, and also allows you to breathe when making them there 85 mph. runs #mercury300
  13. hahaha! Yeah ... there are a few of you out there - ya know, the ones that are messed up in the head from staring at that sonar in 20 ft. of water for too long;)
  14. Gotta love Shallow - many a angler would be lost without it ... as I can clearly attest;) **** That Horrible Nightmare that wakes you up during the middle of the night in a cold sweat. All you can remember from the dream is that largemouth bass would never again live in shallows, but had all permanently moved to 20 ft. deep ledges...
  15. Oh that's easy: - ShakyHead - Fluke - Pit Boss - Square Bill - WACKY WORM Sadly, I'm just not quite there with a jig yet ... thats a work in progress
  16. Hey Guys, Just wondering if anyone had a fantasy league I could possibly join? I'm the only one I know that plays it, and its not exactly fun playin by yourself ... :/ Appreciate it!
  17. Im with what some of you have said - their a little heavier than some, but its not extreme. And for those of you saying the 7'6" is really heavy and whippy - I haven't tried that model, but the 7'0 seems pretty decent. Its not too extremely heavy or whippy, but lets not forget...this IS a cranking rod - its not exactly supposed to be iron-stiff. preciate all the helpful input y'all! Keep em coming ...
  18. So sorry to hear that ... will absolutely pray for ya bud! God Bless!
  19. I prefer the lazer trokar flipping hooks, either 3/0 or 4/0. I peg my sinker, then just rig the bait in normal Texas style. Hope this helps!
  20. you should definitely try the trick worms on a shaky head. I started using this a few years back, and it quickly became my confidence bait. My favorite setup is the war eagle 3/4 oz. shaky heads with a green pumpkin trick worm.
  21. Looks like I kinda jumped the gun, but oh well ... i didn't really need two anyways :/
  22. You know Fort Pickett? There's some great fishing out there ... and yeah, the rod was originally $90, but I picked it up for $30, so I was pretty pleased.
  23. Just picked up the 7'0, medium-heavy, clear water squarebill rod on good ol black eye friday. So far, seems like an awesome rod - but i just haven't used enough of these glass rods to give an educated opinion on em. Anybody used this rod? Id really appreciate hearing what ya think!
