  1. thanks for your concern, but he actually was referring to a finesse rig, if you'll look at the very first post. That is definately not a traditional rig.
  2. oh ... well it wasnt really advertising ... just telling ...
  3. apparently. but all it was was telling people about this new bait on the market...
  4. for some reason my post just got deleted ... anybody know why?
  5. dude this thing is the BOMB! If you ask me what are the best purchases ive made, this thing is dern near the top of the list! All you have to do is stick it in the deer where the sun don't shine all the way up to the handle, give it a like two turns, then pull it out. it pulls out all the droppings and leaves NO MESS at all! If you ask me, Its def. worth it.
  6. i beg to differ ... finnesse umbrella rigs work just fine in shallow water. went out this weekend and caught a 6, two 4's and numerous threes and twos an a little three wire umbrella rig my buddy invented. Right now, these umbrella rigs are my go to in shallow water ... because the bass are pushing shad UP, now down into the "deeper, open water".
  7. allergic to cold ... so lets go ice fishing?? Those berkeley gloves do get the job done though!
  8. Good luck bud! Just remember one of the most important things in bow hunting ... breathing control, breathing control, breathing control! Trust me, when you have a 10pt. bruiser with a 19" spread standing right in front of ya, its VERY easy to let you breathing get outta whack:) Just keep yourself calm and you shouldn't have any trouble at all. Ain't NOTHIN better than the stick n' string. Go get em' brother!!
  9. i' d buy that for TWO dollar!
  10. A doctor tells a guy: "I have bad news. You have Alzheimer's, and you have cancer." Guy says, "Thank God I don't have cancer."
  11. Hahaha just. made. my. freakin. night!
  12. Can anybody guess the next great scent?? Even if it came straight from the mouth of KVD himself, I just don't think I could bring myself to fish with that ...
  13. AMEN!! But those YUMdingers though ... lets just say I make sure never to go fishing hungry
  14. ain't that the truth!
  15. My favorite finesse jig presentation is a Strike King Bitsy Jig with a Berkley chigger craw for my trailer. Hope this helps ... best of luck to ya:)
  16. Just wanted to send a big Congrats out to Mr. Randall Tharp for his awesome Forrest Wood Cup win on the Red River this past week. Its a title he's been working hard to get for a long time, and I think he really deserved this one. WAY TO GO THARP!!
  17. all the time ... pretty much my go-to summer rig. I caught that bass in my profile pic doing exactly what your talking about.
  18. it just depends on what you consider "too much money" My favorite pair of fishing glasses I have found are Wiley X " Valor's ". Stylish enough to wear all the time, and only about 100 bucks ...
  19. Never tried em, but they had a sale at wally-world couple weeks ago where the money hounds were like a dollar for a whole pack...
  20. love it...couldn't do without it! caught a 5 and 6 lbr on back to back casts last night ... its the bomb!
