1 Lure You Have No Confidence In...
For me I would have to say tubes and jerkbaits. If you would have asked me this last year, I would have said jigs was my least favorite. Now they are the ones I have the most confidence with ...

Livingston Lures...
Sure more expensive baits equal better quality: paint job, durability, hooks, performance, etc. As far as the livingston technology goes, maybe it works maybe it doesnt. In the end go with your gut.

Shimano Curado I HG (2) Zoom super flukes- white ice (2) zoom super flukes- white pearl/chart. (1) zoom trick worm- watermelon/chart. ...and no trip to bass pro is complete without some cinnamon glazed pecans from the fudge & nut cart! Now I'm just waiting for the rod trade-in. Looking at getting either a St. CROIX AVID or G. Loomis BCR853.

Done With Bass Pro Shop
I was told by one of the employees that they're keeping it open that it makes a killing at that location and that Walmart wishes they could have that building back. Walmart actually leases the building to BPS, but now they're wishing they could put in one of those Walmart neighborhood markets there.

Curado I Initial Impressions
I literally got the last 7.2 out of the display case at the BPS in Memphis... Can't beat the reel trade in plus I had 42$ in rewards and a double points coupon! Bill Dance was there also and received a bobble head for being a preferred rewards member.

Where Are The Nascar Guys?
I've been a huge NASCAR fan since I was about 10yrs old and Dale Earnhardt was my driver. When he died at the Daytona 500 in February 2001 my heart sank. I stayed around watching for several more months then when Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the July Daytona race (2001) the same yr and racetrack that took his father away, I cried like a big ol' baby and from there on out I've been a huge Dale Jr. fan.

Duckett Ghost Vs Mojo Bass
I own 2 of the micro magics and was thinking about picking up a ghost when they came out, but after seeing they aren't backed by the 20 year warranty (only 1yr) plus with all the cost cutting features of no cork and insert less guides just didn't seem worth it to me for the price/warranty difference... instead I would rather pay a little extra and order another micro magic.

Asking For A Response From Every Member
1. Spring time is the prime time for catching big bass... esp for me being a bank fisherman. 2. Jigs account for a LARGE majority of my bigger bass. (btw thanks to NorthStar & Siebert) 3. Work on your casting, stealth, and presentation so that when you cast to a spot you surprise them and get more bites.

So Let's Hear It! What For Christmas??
No hat I was just happy to get a picture of him with my son. He was in line at customer service and I hated to bother him, but he ended up talking to us like he knew who we where... Real nice guy!

Rod & Reel Combo For 8Yr Old
Thanks for the great feedback... That's the problem we had this year was poor quality. I bought him a Shakespeare panfish combo that I thought was decent and had good reviews, but the front plastic cone cover over the head assy would pop off a lot when pressing the button to cast. This year for Christmas I wanna buy him something that's nice and he'll be able to use for several years. Thanks again for the info!!!

Rod & Reel Combo For 8Yr Old
Can someone recommend a good rod & reel combo for an 8 year old? Also, should I stay with the spincasting reels or go with a spinning reel? Thanks
