Anyone Ever Gotten In Trouble Or Aske To Leave A Pond?
Golf Courses around where I live the fishing is great......too bad you spend most of your time hiding from the Sheriff's helicopter to really enjoy it. Bottom line they used to allow fishing there, but too many people trashed it, interfered with the golfers, and just screwed it up for everyone. Now it's a game of cat and mouse. If you're caught, bye bye fishing gear, hello trespassing charge. So I tend not to even bother.

Dry Rot Of Skirt Collars.
If you don't like Seibert jigs, hey then deal with rotted out skirt collars who ever you feel free to do so. If it's that bad though, I think I'll go buy a new pack of skirts for a few bucks. Or take braid and wrap the skirt before it breaks. Or you could have bought wire tied Seibert jigs....lol

Umbrella Rigs For Smallies??
I'd be more inclined to shifting to smaller baits like the Kietech 3.5 and 4" swing impacts on a 2/0 to 3/0 1/8-3/16oz head. The smaller heads give them more kick as well. But I don't see why they wouldn't eat one.

This Is "the Truth"!!!

Topwater Line
I fish all braid on all my rods, but choose to swap to either mono or FC topshots depending. So if it was a frog or buzzbait, straight braid. Popper or walking bait, then would fish a 10-15ft mono topshot.

What Do You Think?
10lb and above should be fine as long as you're fishing with sharp hooks. If it's dull it doesn't matter what size line you use. Hook size is hook size. If it's sharp it's going to penetrate much easier then if it was dull. But I rarely ever use anything larger then a 4/0 depending on brand.

Big Fan Of Flukes
Try the G-Lock hooks. Have the same problem with the EWG, but the Gammy G-Lock's seem to #1 keep the fluke from sliding down and #2 increase the hook up due to the way the hook is designed and can be skin hooked.

Do Bass Know When The Lake Is Stocked With Trout?
The city ponds I fish, they know. They post up in the general area of where the truck will show up. Trout hit the water and normally stay quite close to where they are dumped and migrate down the bank and spread out. The bass pin them to the bank. One lake I fished I happened to catch a 6lb fish within 10min of being there, but the volume of large fish in the 8+ lb range grouped up in small packs up to 8 fish working to pin those trout to the bank was awe inspiring. Once the truck regularly visits every other week, the larger fish wait patiently. The best time to catch them on the swimbaits is either the 4-5 days before the next stock, or the day of. After that, well odds of getting bit are slim and well slim. And the first plant normally takes the fish a while to key in on. They will follow them but not consume them at first, but after a few days they figure it out. Then anytime after that it's feeding time.

Co-Angler Étiquette (Myth)
lol, I haven't backed a trailer up in years, but if I could do it before I'm sure I could do it again All the bases you covered were pretty much my thinking. Can't be a "tool" and expect them to respect you. It's the small things that I'm sure seperate the the quality non-boater/co-anglers from the others. And I'm sure if you do all the small things odds are your weight at the end of the day will probably be a lot better then it would if you hadn't.

What Reel Has Been With You The Longest?
I have an old Mitchell light action, probably a 500 size I got back in 94, still use it when I take my son trout fishing or decide to go catch them instead of bass. And if we are talking saltwater gear, I still have a bunch of Newell's I bought in 93, some older then that as the older earlier models were bettter quality. So probably still have reels I fish with from the late 80's. Put those things through a lot and they keep on going.

Co-Angler Étiquette (Myth)
Wow, reading this thread makes me wonder since I will be a co-angler next month on the Rayovac Western Series. But I will take it for what it is. I have fished for a living, I know to respect someones boat, help where I can and within the rules, and try and communicate with whom I'm going to be paired with each day as so I can have somewhat of a plan and take my shots where I can. Hopefully make some fishing friends at the same time and if they are cool, offer to take them fishing off the coast in the spring to fish the Islands(helps to have friends with boats). I will keep a positive attitude and conduct myself professionally. Let's hope it go's both ways since working together will more times then not lead to both catching more fish and ending the day toward the top of the boards.

B.a.s.s. Brawl Segment Suggestions
All I know is I feel bad for whomever is paired up again Hackney, although Ish might put up a good fight if he can stay in the boat.

New Marshal Requirements
Don't worry, there will be enough other drunk and disorderly people at Havasu, so you may have to fight them off first.

Winter Fishing And Plastic Worms - Why The Disrespect?
Well South Florida I don't think ever gets waters below 55. So I would say more a seasonal bite depending on what region you live in. I can get a bass to eat an 8" floating Line Thru swimbait on top out here all winter if I tried. But then the waters rarely fall below 55 here as well. And I was under the impression they eat cranks, jerks, and other moving baits in the cooler months due to the horizontal movement of the bait. You have to consider these fish are probably suspended and inactive but if an easy meal blows by them they react. Jigs work if you can fish them really slow, but I can't hold a beer and fish at the same time so fishing that slow to me is out of the question.

Winter Fishing And Plastic Worms - Why The Disrespect?
Only if your waters cool off and fall below 55. I've had really good topwater bites in the high 50's.

Patriots Cheating Again, Of Course
What if it's not a Brady Blow up doll, but a life sized Fathead? Joking....I don't have either.

This is great entertainment!!!! The Chiefs did have a few good games though. But they couldn't hold it together through the whole season.

Am I The Only One?
I don't face all my baits the same way, but I do my money.
