  1. I have a Sahara. Haven't used it much... Never had any issues with Shimano. They make a great product. I LOVE their older baitcasters especially. Their rods are reasonably priced as well.
  2. I have the 855 CBR. It's the crankbait rod thats a little stiffer than the others. I find it to be a little too flimsy for plastics and a little too stiff for crankbaits. Just me I guess. I plan on getting another GLX to remedy this. Personally for senkos I would have to agree with Quitlimpin about the XF. Also it depends with GLX you have. I would want the lightest they make.
  3. Yeah. I really like GLoomis but St.Croix is the first high end company I started buying. I have a soft spot for St.Croix. Used to have an Avid and Xtreme. Regret selling them. I'm sure I'll pick up some more sooner than later.
  4. I've caught quite a few out of the Potomac River over the last few years but haven't caught any this year. I kill them when I catch them but I am slowly changing my mind. Especially when I think how many other invasive species are in the Potomac. Maybe the kill on sight is slowly diminishing the numbers because it's odd to me that I haven't caught one yet.
  5. I caught a smaller one in between some vegetation and the shore. It was very yellow. And stunk... I called it a swamp bass
  6. Thanks! From left to right. 7. As you can see I have no clue how to post a picture...
