Headed to BPS this week. The neatest one is 2 .5 hr away so I like to stop in when I'm close by. What are a few favorite things you like to get there?

I got a 6xd hung in the lower limbs of a tree. Co-angler was helping to get it out. He grabs the 6xd Boat moves. Treble goes into finger rather deep and long. Ended the day but glad I had a first aide kit.

Bought a 96 285 XL a month ago. It's my first boat and I love it. Was out in 4ft white caps. earlier and it handles rough water very well. 90 hp seems low. I have 150 hp on mine.

Do you have a bait that u usually like to start out with? For example mine is a green fluke. If no bites after 20 min or so I'll change up.

I'm in the road trip and was paired today with Glen. It was an unbelievable experience. He taught me so much from fishing to boating in rough water. He is an incredible guy and we had great conversations. If u missed the road trip then u missed something special. Brandon.

HWY 72 is now back open. It was closed from Athens to the Lauderdale County Line. I drove through there this morning and it is back open. Serious damage to the communities of Coxey and Clements .

Only road closure reported is hwy 72 in limestone county. This will only impact those come in from the east such as from I 65.

Was on Wilson this morning. Water temp at 65 to 68. My co-angler caught a 5lb large mouth with a power worm.

I have 2 16 gal. tanks on my Stratos and mix 50:1. Let me preface my question by saying that I don't fully trust my fuel guage. Are there any tips on the best way to fuel up? For example, I may pour in enough oil for 6 gal. of gas only to find out that I the tank would only hold 4 more gallons. I would then not have the right oil to gas ratio. I guess its possible to only add enough oil for a gallon of gas at time, but that would take forever. Thoughts?

Good news. I was able to get it to charge and hold the charge by using a heavy duty automotive charger. Looks like I can delay the purchase for a while.
