How do I do this? It's an eagle cuda with 5 pin slots on the power cable. Unit was fine and mid day would not power up. The fuse at the battery is good so I want to be sure I have power at the head.

Is there any type of stabilizer for cable steering like the ones for hydraulic steering? My transom saver isn't long enough so I'm using motor sticks instead. I don't like how the motor can turn when trailering. I currently turn it to the side and hold the wheel with a bungee but prefer to have it held straight.

I have a 96 stratos 285. Handles rough water fairly well. I fish tn river reservoirs

What does a similar one with a motor run? U could them price things out and get an idea of its worth as is.

How do u secure the pedal if u are moving it around?

Do u throw when there isn't any top water activity? For example depth goes from 8 to 20 ft on a ledge. No would u try top water over it is no bites are on it?

I usually use it when shallow but what about if the water is 15 to 25 ft deep. Will bass come up from the depths for it?

Thinking of moving my foot control and depth finder to make my deck more comfortable. Where do u guys have things? I'm thinking I want the foot control in the center and the finder to the right on a new ram mount.

Noticed I broke this yesterday. The cable is fine. Just broke where it mounts to the trolling motor. Depth finder is probably 15 yr old

How can I tell?

I have a 96 stratos with two tanks. It's odd But the motor seems to run better idling and moving slowly when the port side tank is used. Any thoughts?
