Should warm up this weekend, going on Sunday (wind 10-20 on Sat). I'll let you guys know what I do!

Cool! I absolutely love a buzzbait, especially at night!!! Last week I actually caught 6 nice fish on a white buzz bait w/ white blade, 5.9 lbs was biggest! Also caught a few on black back/ gold rouge and TR watermelon lizard. I will be at them tomorrow am!

Didnt fish Friday but made it today! Caught 10, but it was slow and a struggle all soft plastics, wacky, senko and tr! My newphew broke off a big fish at the boat between 8-10 lbs! Be at them again tomorrow all fish between 8-15 fow!

Catt, To you pay attention to moon phase? ie, have you tacked over the years what moon phase you have done better on? Just wondering? I have always done better on a dark moon!

Catt, ha,ha, sounds good, but if you see a big white GAMBLER sneaking around on the flats it's me! The Community flats is such a good spot! Bear, I am sure if I showed my uncles this website they would pass out! They are both early 60's and might tell family the information contained in these 12,000 plus posts, but they sure wouldn't put it on here! Secret squirrel stuff you know!! My uncle caught 8 fish in 6 hours on Toledo Bend that weighed close 80 lbs, he has them on a stringer mount in his house! I still have never been to that spot with my uncle! So, IMO, Catt is sharing information some would never ever learn unless they just fished TB for 20-30 years! Sometimes I cringe when I read his posts, not that it's bad, just that he is spot on with his information and techniques and it goes against everything I was taught, you know Secret Squirrel stuff about fishing! I even use plastic water bottles as buoy markers with tinfoil inside, so I can see them but others can't and they don't know the spot I am on! I will keep reading and reporting, one day I'll show my uncles this just to see their reaction!

Went yesterday, fished from daylight until 1130am! Fished Indain Mounds ended up with 13 nice fish! I dropped DD at the trolling motor! All fish were caught from 12-25 fow on football jig, c-rig or t-rig, big fish was hooked on t-rig 10" worm, blk/blu!

Good deal man, it's all about preference and what makes you comfortable while fishing!

Hey shaneus, I got a foot control bow mount Motor Guide Tour Edition 109 it's used, but still a pretty good TM. I put a Minn Kota on my boat. I'd be willing to part with it for a couple hundred bucks if interested.

Fished yesterday am.......caught 12 on a C-rig in 18-25 fow, nothing big, but most were nice fish, caught 3 nice k-bass too. SE wind started blowing hard and I went to the house!

Indian Mounds this am, caught 9, 5-4, 4-2 and a few smaller fish all on a c-rig with a watermelon/red flake daminki kiaser. I hit 944 too, but really couldn't find the spot, how far from thenisland and the boat lane is the road bed?

I fished a few humps/brakes around W 31.23495 W 93.65083 for a few hours from 4pm to 8pm, caught 22 all on C-rig, nothing big but still had fun, caught a 2-7 Kentucky bass! Anyone fishing at night?
