Aww bumped from the top ten, oh well there is always next month!

Did a little fishing while on my lunch break behind the offices off Jim Moran Blvd. Missed two in the 20 mins I had to burn. One only had the tail of the worm the other broke off. Funny you guys mention wearing business clothes while out fishing, that's everyday for me when I stop on the way home from work. On the flip side my wife loves when I come home with stickers/hitch hikers (little green square things) stuck all over the bottom of my trousers. Probably a good idea to buy some knee high rubber boots, for her sake anyways lol.

MCS u are right it's been tough but seems like it is starting to come around. I missed out on the last cool season, only been back into fishing since like May of this year. I feel like I accomplished something by having 5 fish finally haha!

Went out after work on Tuesday 10/22 managed to get one and miss another. Got the limit so now time to start culling. This one was 16.5" So I think I am at 5 fish for 73.5" *editited

Hey bassinlou I saw a previous posting of the totals looked like you had me down for 5 fish and I can only remember posting 4. Can you clarify this for me?

I'm out till this weekend. Headed to St. Louis for work. I should be back at it on Saturday. Rest assured I will still stalk this thread on my phone until I can get home and back into the fight. I'm setting my goal for tenth place this month. Gotta crawl before you can run with the big dogs. And on a side note thanks for running the show BassinLou and everyone who posts/participates for making such a fun thread and competition

Last night I was at Hillsboro blvd and 39th ave Usually fish margate Coral Springs coconut creek and Deerfield. I live near sample and 441 so anywhere within a few minutes of home.

I got out for a bit after work yesterday then the rain started to get a little too heavy for my liking to keep fishing. Missed 2 bites during the maybe 45 mins I was out there. While i was out there 3 kids/teens showed up and were buzzing frogs, said they were after snakeheads. I didn't see them catch anything either, so I didn't feel to bad.

Yeah my two older ones will go sometimes mostly just fishing with bread balls. My youngest is only 2 so she has got some time left. My 9 y/o was just telling me a few days ago that she wants to use different bait to "catch the fish that I catch."

Right 9.3# fish sure beat my PB. I get all proud of myself when I catch a 17" 2-3# bass. I'm definitely minor league. LoL My daughters think I am pro! Ha!

I read that on the cover of the newspaper while in line at the convienent store. It's really crappy if you think about from all side the fisherman and the employees that work for the state park.

Sweet finally broke the dry spell, went out a lunch time and managed to catch one about 11". I took a pic of it next to my rod, will need to get a pic of the tape measure against the rod for verification. Caught on a watermelon green tuscaroran tpl needle worm 8" t-rigged weightless. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/gallery/image/7302-ruler/ Sweet looks like I under estimated. 1 fish 12.5" BassinLou is this good enough to verify fish size?
