Ding... Ding.... Ding.... It's a new month and for many you know what that means!!! Another month to compete to be the "King/Queen (for our lady anglers) of the Hill"

I want to give a big shout out to DeepDishPanda for winning last month's competition. This was his 4th consecutive win since the *** of this competition. He finished at 5 fish 103". Last month to say the least was one of the best competitions we have had.

( Just in case this is foreign to many of you reading this thread for the first time, please consult this previous thread as a reference; http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/124323-florida-bass-club-september-tournament/page-1 )

Ok, let's get down to business. The tournament is officially open to new and previous competitors (Sorry, FL BR members only), entry is easy, just announce your intention on this thread that your "in". I will take care of the rest. All you have to do is catch, measure, and photograph your fish. Just like last time, you have until Saturday Oct 5, til 11:59pm to announce your intention. After that, you can follow us, post pics if you want, but your catch's or bragging will not count. We still luv ya, though. ;)

Question to the previous participants: Should we have minimum size limits? Let say 12" ? Let us know, we will talk about it, and then maybe include it in the rules.

Lastly, let's keep this fun, fair, and clean. Remember at the end of the day, its JUST FOR FUN!!! ;)

Best of luck to everyone, and DeepDish your reign ends this month!!! ;)

Lastly, Lastly,..... "I'm in"

Lou and other what would you think about this.

Last month how it was close say me and tightlinesjax tied. Im sure we can go back and then factor in 1/4", I mean I know I may have had fish not totally lined up and estimate and he had that one 21" that I felt was longer because how the fish was positioned. We could do a fish off. The two could set up a time and do the biggest fish that day wins. I think that would be pretty cool and interesting in the event of a tie I don't know what you guys think

I'm in!

Congrats to DEEPdish Panda on the win last month.

Good luck to all this months participants!

That would definitely make for an exciting "playoff",but i imagine it might be hard to get the same time to fish on the same day for you( ;) ) and whomever to have that fish-off.

Other than that i think it would be really cool.

Yea I was thinking the same thing about the same time factor. So it would probably have to be the week and take pics of what you catch then do a top 3 or something like that. But I just thought it would be interestingly and fun to see in the event of a tie

Thanks again for the gift card man I am debating if I should throw it towards a nice reel or just get more tackle.  I can hear Lou and LMG saying put it towards a baitcaster

Hey AK,

I'm from Downtown (next to Ivanhoe). UCF has some nice ponds. Next time you're there check out the two ponds right behind Brighthouse Stadium. I can guarantee there are at least 2 +10lb bass in there.
