  1. Flat Side Special with a 6.3 Zillion and 15 lb CXX or 40 lb braid. I'm tall so I don't mind walking a bait on a 7' rod.
  2. Can confirm, reporting works. Reported someone being a D and it was handled promptly. 10/10, will report again in the future.
  3. Sort of. However now I'm reminded that I need a Zillion 50th and TDZ 105H.
  4. Here's the thing about UPS. Delivered could mean anything from delivered to not delivered to you'll get it tomorrow to it's in the wrong state. You might get it tomorrow.
  5. My reels have gotten out of hand. They are like rabbits, I tell you. Off the top of my head: Alphas Type R Alphas SV Chronarch 51E Conquest 101 (2014) KTF tune Aldebaran Orange Amber Pixzilla PX Type R Solzilla Stradic 1000 MgFB Zillion 6.3 Zillion 6.3 PE special Zillion 7.1 Zillion TRS 100 Heeeeeeeeeeelp.
  6. Toss me in with the "swim jigs have replaced spinnerbaits" crowd. Plus if I buy nice, thin wire ones the pike and big smallmouth will ruin them.
  7. Still looking for my first this year. So far it's been all green fish.
  8. Welcome. Hope you're enjoying the rain!
  9. Siege is serious business. Performance wise, the conversation should be Elite vs. CX and Siege vs. CXX.
  10. +1 for the styling on the butt of the split grip. Me gusta.
  11. Something Zillion. I fish the 7.1:1 a lot but the PE Special has the best color scheme. Still looking for a Cabela's 50th to put on a green NRX.
  12. Alphas SV is good with braid. 40 lb is probably the highest I would run for capacity's sake.
  13. I have that Triumph. For $80, you could do much worse. I have it paired with a Stradic 1000 and 10 lb braid. The rod really loads and launches 1/4 oz lures.
  14. It's hard to argue with a $90 Tatula from Amazon. I think waiting for a second paycheck or a steadier job is sound advice though.
  15. Yar! The condition is overall pretty good, just a few dings and one dark mark above the gear ratio number. She needs new knob caps but that's easy. I'll get some more pictures up tonight, hopefully with a fish or two.
  16. Here's one of the pictures I promised. Got a bit lucky on this one.
  17. If you used your Outdoor Rewards card, they should be able to look it up.
  18. If you can bump it to $300 and want style points as well, look at the Megabass Orochi XX Extreme Misson Type F or Diablo Spec R. If you can do $270-280, wait 'til 4th of July and catch a Dobyns Extreme 703 or 743 on a 20% off sale somewhere.
  19. So. . Pitchforks and torches?
  20. Cold War's over mate.
  21. I would put exactly zero stock in those reviews. They just repeat manufacturer specifications and assign numbers arbitrarily.
  22. This is my last week of physical therapy so I bought something stupid on eBay. Pics when she gets here!
  23. 100; 300 is the high capacity big bait reel. The H and P indicate retrieve speed and the L indicates left handed retrieve. I'm not a fan of the Lexa with the Tatula available for $100 or under and I find Falcon rods to be nothing special, especially at the lower end.
  24. This is a headscratcher. Hopefully it will make more sense when we have more information.
