Hey even Rojas misses a few. Could be dinks, could be bad timing could be a lot of things. One thing you can do that likely won't be mentioned is have a follow up punching rig handy. I go as small as I can, but if I miss em I the frog I put a punch rig right on top of it or very near and see if I can save it. Sometimes the fish you're seeing simply can't be caught on a frog. It happens. Be ready for that!

I think the person in question was simply an idiot to be fair. Any sane person would have been annoyed! Its definitely the Indian and not the arrow... That said, I can't find a single reason to not enjoy having nice arrows too!

What reel a guy caught a fish on means about as much as the last guy's winning lottery numbers the next time the numbers are pulled. We can draw whatever conclusion we feel we must for the discussion at hand, but in the end you can go buy 200 zebcos and none of them are more likely to pull a 20#+ fish than any other reel out there. The fact that there are so many out there is the only reason you keep seeing them. If that's what you honestly think goes through people's' heads when they buy something really nice, I can only assume you never have and don't personally know anyone who has either haha

Looking to pick your brains. Thinking about making the leap from my Ito Ai (103 spool) to a PX68. It's a little lighter a little faster and a little better at light baits... Right? Or is it monumentally better at something? This will be going on an NRX 852c and be used for mostly weightless t-rigs on 15# Smackdown braid. Specifically looking at the 6.8 raito version for picking up slack fast. What say you?? I really love the asthetics of the Ito so if it won't be a big jump in function I will likely pass, but I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

I use 40# Smackdown now and it was literally out casting 30# 832 by a significant margin and it's the smoothest and quietest I've found. I've also gone up to 55# FX2 and it was just overkill and super loud... Unnecessary. My butter zone is #40# Smackdown for life, it's crazy line. Do yourself a favor and don't just assume you should have 50lb on there though... You could be losing a lot of casting distance you don't need to.

ALL. DAY. That high sun has a lot of bigger bass just hanging out in the shade under the pads. Guarding fry, hunting forage, laying in ambush etc. Just try to be as stealthy as you can and work the ring around the open water anywhere weeds are. Look specifically for the meeting points of different types of veg, or open water pockets, as even tiny open holes can be a big opportunity. Pads are like beach umbrellas to bass. There's never a time I don't want to fish obvious emergent cover. In the summer, a hollow body is always ALWAYS on deck. When the weeds are up, the fish are home!!

Well that's just it... The bride is one of my oldest friends. She's like a sister to me. I'd throw somebody off a bridge for her, so it feels disingenuous to say no to running around and spending some cash. It's just never ending! I have always been the "no thanks" guy but I was genuinely excited for her. Now I'm just burnt out! They can spend their money however they want but this is mine too haha... And believe me it isn't the cash I care about. It's my sanity! You've never seen a group textalanche like when the bridal party decides to CC the groomsmen to "keep everyone on the same page"... It's unbelievable. Never again! No I'm actually on hug overload!
