I was wondering how you guys rig your Net Bait Paca Craws? I see most people use as jig trailers but how else do you fish them? Weighted hooks and swim them? Texas Rigged? What size hooks/weights are you using on the 5" Paca craw and how are you fishing them? Thanks

When fishing a skirted jig how do you attach the trailer, such as a Havoc Pit Boss? Do you texas rig it? I have a few in my tackle box, where and how do you hook your trailer to the jig itself?

I got to use the Havoc Craw Fattys this weekend. I wasn't having much luck fishing it slow...I started casting and reeeling back to boat a moderate speed and had one nail it. The swimming action of them is a great..only caught 1 bass on them but 1 is better than none. I will be trying the Pit Bosses this weekend.

Additional question; I accidentally picked up the Craw Fattys; I wanted Pit Bosses; will 4/0 EWG hooks be fine when texas rigging these? I also got some 3/16 oz bullet weights

Thanks for all the advice; I think we will start with lipless cranks, I recently got some Strike King Red Eye Shads I want to try out anyhow, sounds like they are pretty popular. I also picked up some shakey head rig, VMC shakey head 3/16 jigs; Berkley Havoc Bottom Hopper 6.25" and then some Berkley Havoc Craw Fattys. Hope this technique works! I will let you know

I picked up some Craw Fatties today, I meant to get 1 pack of Pit Boss 1 pack of Fattys, I screwed up. Anyhow, I bought 4/0 Gamaktsu EWG hooks, will these work on texas right for these guys? Saw some posts/videos saying 3/0 was propper size...thanks

Hello All, I will be fishing smaller lake this weekend in WI where we had succuess this summer with soft plastics on sunny hot days sometimes right in the middle of the day... My question now is, will the soft plastic techniques continue to work as it will be 61 degrees, slight over cast, september and somewhat cold? We will be fishing alot of texas rigged berkley power worms pit bosses, senkos(possibly wacky rigged) and thanks to you guys I will be giving Shakey Head Finesse fishing a first go around. I am beginnder on soft plastics so not sure when they work the best or continute to work. Or should we go to shallow running squarebill cranks...lipless cranks, rat-l-traps and Red Eye Shads, Rapalas? Thanks for the advice!

Hello All, On my next fishing trip I want to use a Shakey Head setup. I was wondering the correct size of shakey head jig and plastic worm. I buy most of my gear at Gander Mountain up here in WI. So on their site I don't see many options for shakey head jigs, do they have them in store? The worm I will more than likely use is Zoom Shakey Tail Worm 5". So what would be a good jig for this; size, brand, and where to buy? I will take any advice on fishing shakey head rigs, I just started using soft plastics this summer and I am hooked. Thanks

Hey Guys, Looking soon to buy my first bait-cast set up. 6'6" MH Fast Action St Croix rod with a pflueger trion baitcast reel. I belive gear ratio is 6:4:1 I will be getting off of cragislist. Wondering what the best line would be for this set up, brand, lb test, and type? I fish bass, norther, and walleye. Pretty much throw cranks and recently started plastic worm fishing which is awesome. Also if you have experience with this reel, any idea on how it worked for you? Thanks in advance

What color of Red Eye Shad have you had success with? I live in Wisconsin and love using lipless crankbaits. I have had most sucess with Xcalibur(smaller one) in Ghost color. Bought it because it was on sale...caught 3-4 bass in 6 cast one day. I will be picking up some Strike King Red Eyes and wanted to know everyones favorite colors...will start w/ one, dont have finances to go buy 5. Thanks
