  1. I don't think its an issue of not selling as more as not many people come in looking for a $ 250 fishing rod. I go to a smaller local fishing store they sell dobyns rods as well but they only keep the most sought after fishing rods. Inventory will tie your money up quickly , so you try and keep something popular but something that moves and get your money back.
  2. The best mix I have found is 12 lb line in mono if you want to do both . however 10 LB mono would was to light for jerk baits in shallow water & top water the poppers and walking baits wouldn't work right for me anyways heavier line would work better . I am getting a dedicated top water and separate jerk bait rod .
  3. Time to check out www.tinboats.net they have more information for tin boats and modifications then you can find anywhere else.
  4. I just spit my food all over my key board , thanks . Now I have to explain to my 5 year old why daddy is dying on the computer.
  5. That third pic was it at the kellogg creek ramp ?
  6. Sea Kitten sounds like a large woman in a two piece on a boat ..... just sayin
  7. Maybe a drop shot with the hook just above the grass line . Mojo rig maybe your next best bet , besides weightless fluke , senko set up
  8. If your bank fishing you will be walking as spotted bass love to roam . However they are both great fisheries , try a guide service for that spot of a lifetime on lanier .
  9. Krystal's, Steak & Shake for me , I have heard of one red robin but have never ate there the commercials food looks good . Unfortunately I drop into waffle house way way way to much .
  10. You can also use a wake bait , not as loud but can have explosive reaction bites .
  11. Rapala , ima , luckycraft ,
  12. If your bank fishing pick and choose your battles. A balsa squarebill might be a higher winning outcome. Ultimately if you dont fish where their at your not going to get bit anyways.
  13. All year really , let the water temp and water clarity dictate the depth and wobble. Provided your in the non solid water season.
  14. its in the high 60`s to low 80`s depending on the day in Georgia . If there's ice on the lake its to cold to leave the house for me.
  15. The fries are good , but had some wings from checkers , surprisingly really good .
  16. I thought they were the same , like carls jr and hardys. Could be mistaken.
  17. You will definitely like the 705cb , works great for small to medium depth crankbaits. Also doubles as a great jerkbait rod .
  18. I personally chose a composite both glass & graphite for the best over all performance . As far as my choice I researched around and finally chose the 704 cb & 705 glass rods . Both have excellent ratings , even the kvd line up is a composite setup I believe .
  19. If I remember correctly he used to have a couple of different ringtones you could download of him laughing. But I really like his show.
  20. I say yes , I had a pet spotted bass in a aquarium and that guy knew what day was feeding day and at what time . He would hang out at the right corner looking up the minute I walked into the room on his day waiting for me to open the lid .
  21. ima flit , lucky craft pointer , megabass vision
  22. Terminal tackle , probably the most over looked item . Do your re search on new hooks , sinkers etc . Mojo rig weights , tungsten hooks , new drop shot hooks , etc .
  23. Rapala dt4, bandit 100 , ima square bills are a fine choice. No one brand or type crankbait will be the ticket all the time. On a side note , keep your eyes & ears open for yard sales and estate sales . I picked up several high dollar fishing stuff for next to nothing.
