  1. Bass fight club . They never talk about it so thats why you don't know.
  2. I have have used a dropshot in what most people would almost considered mud . I use solid BLACK , fish will hold tight to cover if literally on or next to . As far as weight goes generally I use 1/8 - 3/ 16 max . But river fishing everything changes .
  3. Probably not I would say , I have a local tackle store that tried the ima line up . I quickly scooped up what I could I get my hands on , I was also told I was the only one to give them a shot .
  4. I believe Aaron martins has his own Gamakatsu drop shot hook , I have been wanting to check out .
  5. Zoom finnese worm cheap compared to how many fish I catch .
  6. Dropshot hooks I am fond of the owner mosquito hooks in 1/0 to 2/0
  7. I personally use a Dobyns 704cb graphite for jerk baits , top water , many reviews on tackle tour , you tube etc .
  8. perfect statement , there are times where I will by instinct feel something different and I will sweep the rod to feel any excess of pressure and sure enough a good percentage of the time its a fish .
  9. I am surprised raider has not put a death metal t shirt on his pup yet .
  10. Half the time some of the side affects are worse then simply taking the medicine .
  11. If they catch fish I will purchase the item within reason . However I tend to research an item to death before purchasing to see the goods and bad of each item . I have Rapala dt 4 crank baits along with Lucky Craft 1.5 crank baits , both serve the same purpose however one shines over the other in certain areas compared to the other. There is no right or wrong answer here , however some lures are designed to catch fisherman .
  12. I can see why you would be hesitant , I am using a medium heavy 705cb so it can handle more weight a straight medium would not be the best suggestion .
  13. I use my crankbait rod for large jerkbaits , top water , spinnerbaits .
  14. Welcome . Where in Georgia are you located?
  15. Drop shot , shakey head , small finness jigs . Spots love anything rock . Spend time locating rocky cover on your graph and then you will find spotted bass.
  16. Ghost minnow , blue gill.
  17. Bank fishing during the spawn. In a super shallow cove to skinny for a boat .Quiet amazing seeing the fish hit so violently and feeling the rod doubled over.
  18. Noticed this a couple of weeks ago haha
  19. What about changing line size or adding split rings to the treble hooks for additional weight to have a slow sink . My personal favorite is wrapping wiring around the front treble hook to have a more precise depth control. I dropped to 6 lb fluro to get my luckycraft 78 dd to go alot deeper so hope this helps someone.
  20. I shop locally, however I have it made as where I live I have a bass pro , cabelas , academy , dicks retail stores all around. However i'm not so much into big chains based more over they just about carry the same stuff or there own brand to a point then fight over pennies for the same stuff . The local tackle store tends to carry a lot better variety that others dont but they do have medium to higher end stuff like tackle warehouse so I dont mind spending $$ for other fishing equipment or gear.
  21. I use a gerber version.
  22. Did not know that my apologies , intro Bobby Boucher quote " now you know dat " .
  23. Did not know that my apologies , intro my Bobby Boucher quote " now you know dat " .
  24. Surprised no one has mentioned the good ole Indiana blade spinner bait . Colorado blade with a twist , you can slow roll and crank aggressively . Booyah makes them in silver and gold blade combinations . I have had success with this one setup more so than others just to more depth control and able to switch tactics .
