i have 7 rod and reel all together 5 bait caster and 2 spinning. only use 4 out of the 7 most of the time when i go fishing, hardy ever use the spinning combo.

u WILL want the hds i hear the elite 7 is very slow

last summer, still trying to learn all about bass fishing. i think i have come a long way just by watching videos of glenn and others on youtube. my biggest fish so far is a 5, ready for another big one

are these fish on the side imaging if so are they bass? and is that the thermocline at the 15 feet on the sonar read out. new to side imaging can really learn a lot

just install the 899 on my boat took it out today and here is what i got with the sonar.

As for the high speed depth reading I have my lowrance mark 5 that came with the boat when I brought it. So. There is just no way around without a jack plate that my motor have to be trim up while idling, without interfering with the pulse?

i need all the help i need on this one, just got a 899 si but this is my fist SI transducer uni. i have a 2013 nitro z6, i dont have a jack plate. i think i cant trim my motor all the way down without interfence with the transducer. the lowest i can get the motor is 3/4 trim. new photo after installed, turn out to be fairly clean job i think. only have 2 drill 2 hole at the transome and two for the ram mount that will be here in the morning.. what do u guys think. one more thing, does the button all light up on the 899 or just the one that is shown on the pic

i go fish alone a lot and its kind of quite when i am all by my self so i am getting a iphone speaker on my boat so i can listen to some music. but i will have to turn down so maybe it wont scare the fish away

i seriously debut is the reel because its brand new out of box, and all my other 6 reel are spool with fluro but they are 12 lb and up and i dont ever back lash on them.

all my other reel are spool with fluro line and i dont have that problem on them, maybe i should just strip the line and spool with something a little heavyer?

ok i was fishing a jerk bait on 8Lb sea guard red lable and the line snap in the middle when i jerk my rod. am i using too small of line or just had a bad spot in it. also why do i keep getting backlash on this set up. my break is all the way up and the tension is tight, but i just keep getting backlash on this. i never used anything under 12lb before. this is my first set up with 8LB line thought i will use it for shallow cranking. but it back lash just about every cast, i just almost want to leave it alone. i am using abu garcia villian medium modrate rod 7'1 with abu revo sx 7.3.1.

since i own my restaurant i will have to go back to work when i get off the water, and make the money i have spent on the day out . this past weekend i went fishing at 5 in the morning, got back about 4 in the afternoon and work until 11..

only 2 so far and they are not much bigger than the bait i use
