  1. I feel great, this is the first Spring I'm actually catching numbers. Not size, numbers... last Spring I didn't catch squat.
  2. Didn't catch any significant size, but did catch a few. These were all males, aggressive nest guarders. There were three fat females around the 5lb + sitting on nests next to each other waiting for their hot date. One of them even grabbed a turtle passing thru the nest, and escorted it out. Tried to catch one of them by chunking a jig and craw and reeling it into the nest, then let it sit there and wait for one of them to move it out of the nest. Three times one of them did, and three times I set the hook with her opening her yap and spitting the bait out. They eventually they got wise of me, and just ignored everything.... Frustrating, oh well at least I didn't get skunked.
  3. If you want a nice stand up football jig, Check out Siebert's Derocker football jigs.
  4. You can tune it by bending the eyelet where the split ring attaches to. If it's running to the left, using your needles nose pliers or forceps bend it a little too the right, and if it's going right bend it to the left.

  8. I have a Lew's BB1, 7.1.1 and a Cabelas Prodigy (Diawa Lexa), 7.3.1. Which one should I use for Frogn' and pitchn' mats w/ 50lb braid, and which one for Jigs with 17lb flouro?

  10. Just ordered a new Lew's BB1 for $117 from Dick's. They are on sale for $139 from $159 w/ free shipping, I added my $10 dollar rewards coupon, and bought an $138 Egift card from Raise.com for $117 and put towards the purchase.

  15. The one in the bottom pic had some tude man, gills a flaring, fins a poppn'... was probably ticked cause I took him away from his fat girl.
  16. None here , but these are my first of the year, and first prespawn bass ever, and the stink is off . Just wish they were 5lb fatties. I don't even think these are big enough to get frisky . Caught them all on a Sieberts 1/4 oz Arky jig w/ A Rage Chunk .
