Getting Up For Fishing
Good to know, I still want to do some fishing before everything freezes over, and I'm not plaNning on ice fishing. Want to try some new spots on my lake that I found thru Bing maps satellite view. Plus I'll get to practice my slow fishing.

Getting Up For Fishing
Now that it's getting cold, and the fish are less active, do you guys get up at the butt crack of dawn or wait for it to get "warmer" so the fish are some what more "active"? This is obviously directed towards us northerners.

How To Have Success On A Lake When You Don't Have A Map???
Checked out Bing maps, and ooh I was pleasantly surprised, I got to see what was under my lakes figurative skirt. Found humps and flats that were covered up by weeds, pads and higher water levels that II couldn't see on Google Earth, and they have images of different times of the year. I can actually fish these spots from the shore.
