  16. Good to know, I still want to do some fishing before everything freezes over, and I'm not plaNning on ice fishing. Want to try some new spots on my lake that I found thru Bing maps satellite view. Plus I'll get to practice my slow fishing.
  17. Now that it's getting cold, and the fish are less active, do you guys get up at the butt crack of dawn or wait for it to get "warmer" so the fish are some what more "active"? This is obviously directed towards us northerners.
  18. To clarify I already have two baitcasting set ups an 6ft and an 7ft. I want to start using this spinner for more finesse or shaky, Jersey, split shot and the likes.
  19. That's a nice Rod, but right now that's a little rich for my blood. MAybe something into 50 $-75$ range I can deal with.
  20. Checked out Bing maps, and ooh I was pleasantly surprised, I got to see what was under my lakes figurative skirt. Found humps and flats that were covered up by weeds,pads and higher water levels that II couldn't see on Google Earth, and they have images of different times of the year. I can actually fish these spots from the shore.

  22. I just downloaded Google Earth WOW! I can see shallow,deep, laydowns, etc, and found new spots to fish from the banks. worth the time to download.
  23. That would not be to big for an Shimano 2500?
