Welcome. I lived down in Corpus Christie when I was a kid (just a few years ago) and loved it.

I fished a drop shot for the first time on my last trip out last year and that's all I have thought about this long, long winter. I caught fish on it and see it as a good technique to learn.

I just had mine; Spaghetti Carbonara! I make it as most traditional carbonaras except I leave out the cream. I have had it with and without and find the cream to tame the bacon/ham flavor too much. I like it a little salty and with a good bacon/ham flavor. And refried in a pan the next day is even better. I could live on that stuff! You?

I have been flipping cars for years as a side thing. I love the older muscle cars but you just can't touch them now. 1968 Camaro, 383, 4 spd, posi etc... paid 5k; sold for 7500 1967 Camaro, 355, Doug Nash 5 spd, posi etc... paid 4500, sold for 9500 1923 T Bucket/streetrod paid 8500, sold for 11500 1927 Ford 5 window, 350, custom roof blah blah paid 4500, sold for 8700 Just a few of about, oh I'd estimate around 100 cars over the years. And I'd buy every single one back for what I sold them for if I could.

Doesn't that depend on who's kidneys they are filtered through?

It sounds like you either overcharged them or you had a plate come unglued and short on a neighboring plate. If just overcharged and boiled the water out, you should just be able to refill, charge and be ok. If shorted cell, goodnight irene. Do you have an automatic charger? And is there an auto center nearby with a computerized battery tester?

The main reason I like a leader on my braid is that braid has zero abrasion resistance against rock; which is probably 90% of the bottom I fish.

Boy, are you behind the times! I'd get to BPS and pick some up before ice out. My casting accuracy went up 83% when I mounted mine on...especially on my jig rod.

My buddy went into the new BPS in Hooksett NH and the guy didn't know what smelly jelly or Megastrike was. My friend thought he was kidding but turns out he really didn't know what it was or if they sold either one...didn't know what scents were...true story

I end up going to grass beds in 8-12 ft with a t-rigged Culprit; either black shad, junebug or tequila sunrise.

The other thing some may have to contend with is, like Maine, other states may have banned lead weights. So they are making us use steel wheel weights now. You can tell them apart but you just wouldn't want to have some of those mixed in with your lead.
