Weld's Largemouth

Hey all, I'm looking to buy some fluorocarbon to use as a leader for my 20# braid. I have a few questions: 1. What brand and lb test do you recommend? 2. What length of a leader do you recommend? 3. What is your favorite/best knot for tying the leader to the braid and 4. What knot do you use from the leader to the lure, OR do you use a clip on the end of the leader? Thanks, Welds

Thanks for the suggestions! I think i'll go with the Owner Beastlocks, i like that design and it looks good for swimbaits, craws and all types of plastics.. Do you think its worth to buy the weightless verison and the weighted one too? Or just weighted? Im trying to keep the order from getting to expensive haha, and remember I don't have a consistent job

Squirmin, whatever plan you've got, that's my plan as well. Probably going to try that crankbait that's missing its bill.... It's been in my possession for a year now, might as well use it and see what happens.

I have a couple Strike King KVDs and they have caught 100s of fish and I have never had to tune or change hooks.. I've tried tuning the Bombers, but I guess I'm doing it wrong

Hey all, I've had a few Bomber crankbaits in my tackle box for a while now, bought them on clearance. Whenever I would fish with them the action was awful, the lure never swam straight, and it often ended up just spinning. Worst crankbait I have ever used by far! And plus the hooks are cheap and the finish chips, and the bill bends... Never going to buy Bomber crankbaits again.. What's your opinion on this?

Can somebody give me an overview of what months each bass phase occur down in South Florida, i.e. spawn, prespawn, etc. I'm going down in December and I'm wondering what phase they'll be in. Thanks
