Ok thanks, what lure will catch all the types of bass? A senko?

Hey all! I'm driving to Pittsburgh, PA and I'm going to be right next to the monongahela river. It has smallmouth bass, white bass , largemouth bass, muskellunge, rock bass, hybrid striped bass, walleye.. And much more. Out of those fish I've only ever caught largemouth bass and not in rivers. How should I approach this river, what lures? Id be happy to get some largemouth but it would be awesome to get my first smallie, and some other types of bass that I haven't caught yet. Thanks! Yea its a skinny fish, probably as this pond is fished day after day after day after day by many anglers, many googans. Because of this the fish probably arent eating as much because they dont wanna be caught again lol I have, its hasnt been very productive. These bass take nothing, and i mean nothing besides senkos! Its insane. And the only good time slot is 8pm-9pm it seems. I fished in the middle of the night once and got skunked

Hey all! So yesterday i posted a report and i went to the same pond again this evening and literally the same events occurred!! I tried lots of different lures prior to 8pm to see if i could get these bass, yet nothing worked Around 8 pm i catch a bass off of the SAME lily pad ledge near the same deep water hole, on the SAME lure, a senko, same color. Tonight's bass was 20 inches long, last night's bass was 20 inches long. Tonight's bass weighed 3lb 10oz, last night's bass weight 3lb 13oz They were indeed different fish, the fish i caught today had a massive head and mouth and was missing one of their eyes. Plus, i was the only person to catch a fish AGAIN!!!! Booyah!

I had tried everything, and I out a black senko on at 8pm and cast to deep water on the edge of lily pads. I pull in a 20 in 3 lb 12 oz bass!!!! Persistence pays off! I had been fishing since 3 pm and got nothing until now

Hey all! This afternoon I went fishing at a nearby pond that has a dock and is pressured heavily everyday by fishermen ( most of them are using bread or corn and are catching crappie, but a good amount of them fish for and catch bass) I went there at 3 30 and fished frogs in the pads for a while, then jigs , then senkos. Then I tried spinnerbaits, Jerkbaits, senkos and crankbaits in the open water. I tried swimbaits and finesse worms yet the fish just would not bite! a couple other fishermen were there and were having the same bad luck. Then at 8:00 I tie on a motor oil with red flake color senko , weightless . I cast out into open water but next to the edge of the lily pads. I feel a big thump on my line and set the hook. Fish fought for a couple minutes, great fish. Landed him and he was 20 in long, 3 lb 12 oz. skinny fish but very nice! Persistence pays off!! Booyah!!!! Photo : http://imgur.com/8ukJ5CI

I've tried a lot for the past few hours and nothings biting

I can move to the left of the dock on shore and to the right there is a path in the woods that leads to a small opening of lily pads. I've never caught anything here at this spot and not many people go to it. Here is a pic , and you can see the dock across from it

How can I drop shot if I'm not in a boat

whats so special about it? it just has a weight and a bead, which i dont even have

So this pond i fish has a dock from the parking lot that extends out into the pond. The dock is surronded by lily pads and people fish off the dock almost every day. When i go there i usually toss a frog or a senko in the pads and i rarely pull up a fish. Out in the middle, in the open water, it gets pretty deep... any tips? how and what should i use?

I have that frog too, but once I got a fish on it the legs got pulled to one side..
