I have a couple Veritas rods and I think they are good rods for a good price. Powell makes good rods too. You might also wanna check out the denali koverts.

There is a Cabelas tournament zx baitcasting reel for $35 on craigslist near my area. Im wondering if anyone knows anything about these reels. Are they good or trash? If its a good reel I might jump on it if its still available.

I use a Veritas 7' mh as my jig and soft plastics rod and I think its a great rod at a good price.

I use an Abu Garcia Veritas 7'6" mh with a Lews Speed Spool 7:1:1 gear ratio and I thnk it's an awesome combo for frogging.
