  1. I really like the D&M Piranha in the bluegill color. Imo nothing beats it when it comes to bladed swim jigs.
  2. You can get a Denali Jadewood crankbait rod for $100. Awesome rod!
  3. I'm a big fan of their bladed swim jig. Its the best bladed swim jig on the market imo.
  4. I would also have to say Sunline FX2 but if I was on a tight budget and had to pick another brand I would go with power pro.
  5. What is a good rod for buzzbaits? Length, action, etc.
  6. What do you guys think the best trailer is for the D&M Piranha?

I picked up some Storm Arashi Flat 7's today from my local tackleshop. I usually change my crankbait hooks to Mustad KVD Elite Triple Grips but I'm wondering what size hooks I should put on these. They come with size 4 but with the Arashi Square 3's I up size the hooks to size 2. Would you guys stick with size 4 or upgrade them to size 2? I dk why Im having a hard time deciding on this lol.
  8. 7'2"mh denali kovert with a Lews Speed Spool 7:1:1
  9. I think Booyah Pad Crashers are great frogs and very affordable. They also have a great hook up ratio.
  10. The Shimano Sellus is a decent rod at that price
  11. netbait paca chunks zman turbo craws misslebaits D bombs
  12. I got a couple reels off of craigslist awhile back and one of them came with a 6'6" cabelas fish eagle II casting rod. Im not sure the action or taper of the rod because it doesnt say on the rod and I cant find them on cabelas site. If i had to guess i would say its a medium action. Does anyone have any experience with these rods? Would it be a good rod for topwater baits?
  13. Do you think the veritas could handle a 1oz punching set up?
  14. Actually Ron is who I'm purchasing the rod from!
  15. Probably same as you. One spot that i go to alot the cover gets pretty heavy but most the other lakes that i fish not so much. The veritas rod i have isnt even a heavy though its just a MH but it is a pretty stout rod.
  16. I'm about to purchase a new rod. Its either going to be a Denali Kovert 7'8" flippin rod or the Kovert 7'2" worm and jig rod. I guess the real question is, I own a Veritas 7'6"mh and Im wondering if that rod would be sufficient for flipping and pitching. If not I would like a true flippin stick. I throw Jigs and soft plastics a lot that's why I'm looking to upgrade my worm and jig rod(currently using a Powell Diesel 7'3"). This is really just a personal dilemma on my part but just looking to see what some of you would do.
  17. Thanks a lot! What about for the 5xd?
  18. I just bought a handful of 1.5's, a couple 2.0's, and a 5xd off craigslist but none of them have the split ring that you tie your line too. Im just wondering if anyone knows the size of the split rings so I can order some.
  19. I have a silvermax its a decent reel. The one gripe I have with mine is that the thumb bar tends to stick and it really drives me nuts. i mainly use the reel as a back up now.
  20. not sure, just says fish finder
  21. I usually just fish small to medium sized lakes.
  22. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/boa/4252663482.html What do you guys think of this boat. I think this boat might be THE ONE
  23. I'd probably upgrade the worm and jig rod also. I haven't personally used an *** rod but a lot of people on this forum speak highly of them.
