Dobyns Champion Series - I Can't Decide
I mainly fish squarebills and dt6 cranks. I have never caught a fish cranking deeper than 9'.

Dobyns Champion Series - I Can't Decide
Sold my two cranking rods (705CB Glass and 765CB Glass) because I'd like to go with lighter weight rods. I don't know if I should get the 705CB and the 764CBRM.... or just get one cranking rod and a Carolina rig rod? I would like other point of views and ideas here. Details: I only fish 2 lakes: Neely Henry (Coosa River) and Guntersville (TN River). I have the following Dobyns Champion Rods: (QTY 1) 733C - Senkos/Shaky heads (QTY 2) 734C - Spinnerbaits/Swimbaits/Topwater/T-Rigs (QTY 1) 735C - JIgs So, do I need a dedicated shallow crank stick.... and a dedicated deep crank stick..... or would you do 1 crank stick and add a C-Rig stick? Or maybe something to punch mats on G'ville with a 1oz weight? Thanks guys for your input.

Who Uses A T-Rigged Crawfish?
I'm looking for a resolution to a problem. I've tried zoom speed craw and paca craws on T-Rigged terminal tackle but as I'm working them through the water, they start rolling over and over, or they come through the water upside down with the hook/belly side up. I recently bought some MegaStrike Shaky Head jigheads and haven't tried a craw on them yet. Just wondering if you guys have had issues trying to get a craw to "crawl correctly" through the water. Thanks.

Help Me Find A Squarebill - Sexy Lavender Shad
I'm looking for Strike King square bills (silent) in a color called Sexy Lavender Shad. Here's a sample of the color, but I need it in a square bill. Do you guys know where I can find them? If not, do you know another brand that has a similar paint job? Thanks.

Jig Trailers: Paca Chunk Vs. Paca Chunk Sr.
Is the Paca Chunk Sr. too big for any particular reason? I'd like to streamline my tackle and not carry so many sizes in everything. I prefer the senior size chunk - just wanted to make sure it's OK to fish that size in winter and summer. Thanks.

Jigs ---- Should I Switch From 30# Suffix Braid And Go To Fluoro?
Now there's helpful information.

Jigs ---- Should I Switch From 30# Suffix Braid And Go To Fluoro?
Thank you everyone. The answers were pretty much 50/50 ---- stay with braid --- switch to fluoro. I am going to buy a spool of 20# red label seaguar and add a leader to my 30# braid. I've decided to do this because I'll be using that rod to punch mats at Guntersville in August and will need straight braid for power. Now, what knot is best to connect the lines so that the braid doesn't cut right through it?

Jigs ---- Should I Switch From 30# Suffix Braid And Go To Fluoro?
I was gonna include "I really don't want to fool with leaders - it's just one more knot to snap on me" (which has happened in the past) - but I said "No one will probably tell me to use a leader." --- LOL

Jigs ---- Should I Switch From 30# Suffix Braid And Go To Fluoro?
I've been using 30# Suffix braid for jigs and it's never let me down....but I'm wondering if I'm missing possible bites (if fish can see the braid). I only fish 2 lakes: Henry Neely (Coosa River) - 80% of my trips - water clarity is usually about 10-15 inches Guntersville (TN River) - 20% of my trips - water clarity is usually 1-2 feet I only have 1 jig rod, so I've gotta pick 1 jig line. If you feel fluoro is the way to go, which line do you recommend? Bottom line..... could using straight braid be causing me to miss out on bites? I don't fish "ultra clear" lakes as you can see in the descriptions above. Thanks.

Cranking Line
Last year, I used 10# Invizx. It's expensive line... but it broke on me several times in mid-cast - causing me to immediately get still and look around to see where my bait splashed into the lake - then troll over and pick it up. This year, I'm re-spooling with 12# Sunline Sniper. Hoping for better results.

First Time Swimbait User - Which Jig Head Do I Need?
Just to clarify..... I need a 5/0 hook with a 5" swimbait? That would be a 3/4 oz. head. Can I get away with anything smaller/lighter? The 1/2 oz. would be a 4/0 hook and the 3/8 oz. is a 3/0 hook. Just wondering..... do I need a 3/4 oz. head or can I go lighter?

First Time Swimbait User - Which Jig Head Do I Need?
I just bought some 5" Berkley Hollow Belly Swimbaits and need jig heads for them. From what I've read, Revenge Hedz are very good. What size would fit a 5" swimbait? 3/0, 4/0, or 5/0? Thanks!

Crankbaits! Can You Fully Effective With Only One Brand?
Ok, now I'm confused.... it says they come in a 3, 5, 8, 10, and 14. So what's the difference in these baits and the DT series?

Crankbaits! Can You Fully Effective With Only One Brand?
What is Rapala's version of the Strike King 1.5 square bill???

Crankbaits! Can You Fully Effective With Only One Brand?
Many crankbait companies offer a full line of baits that run from 0 to 20+ feet. I've been thinking.....instead of having a crankbait box with a hodge-podge of several brands, designs, shapes, etc., what's your thoughts of using ONE brand? Example: Spro's line of cranks will cover any depth you want to hit. So why not have only Spro's in your box? Thanks in advance for your time.

New At Winter Bass Fishing - What Clothes Do I Need?
Thanks all ---- I really need to know whether the Bass Pro suit is worth the $360 and if I need to drive 100 miles in the morning to get it. I talked to 2 friends on facebook that own that suit and they said they love it. One of them said they paid over $500 for it 8 years ago and he'd do it all over again.

New At Winter Bass Fishing - What Clothes Do I Need?
Never fished in the cold before. I'm cold natured and need help. I'm in Alabama and I will be fishing in 30-50 degree weather. Can you guys help me choose a full winter fishing wardrobe? Thus far, I'm thinking about: Under Armour 3.0 base layers Bass Pro's 100mph suit (they have it on sale for black friday - but it's still gonna cost $360 out the door and it's NOT insulated) Instead of the non-insulated 100mph suit, should I get a Frabill I-Series insulated suit? The i2 suit is $250 and the i3 suit is $320. Need recommendations for gloves and insulated shoes Will be fishing from my boat only....... Thanks all!

Who Knows Dobyns Rods? Need A Spinnerbait Rod.
Trying to decide between a Champion 733c or 734c. I have a 733 and did some casting yesterday with a 3/8oz booyah. It loaded up quite a bit since that rod is pretty soft. Cast good. Just wondering if I really need to go with the 734 or not. If I ever wanna throw 1/2 or 3/4 spinnerbaits, the 733 may be too soft. What say u?

Spinnerbaits & Chatterbaits - What Size Do You Throw And Why
Curious of your input here...........I usually throw 3/8 on spinners and chatters and I fish less than 10'. Would the 1/2 or 3/4 be better for any else other than distance in casting?
