Don't use JJ's magic, cause it will magically disappear. I like using Megastrike as it gives it a nice coat that slicks it, and will make it come through cover better.

Drop shot when fish are cold, suspended , deep, and when you have them dialed in...in a small area. Covering water, with bigger baits, when its warmer..CRig.

Anything is good. While craw-types are my favorite, because when I use them, its the look I'm going for...I've heard people doing well with large flukes, and swimbaits. Just match what they are feeding on....
