I have been using the Biffle bug, sweet beaver, and a big lizard like the Trigger X Big Moe. My favorites and what I use most of the time is the Biffle bug and beaver style baits and I texas rig it when I'm banging it along the bottom like a crankbait  or if I lift and drop in cover, if I'm doing the lift and drop in open water with light weights then I'll texpose it and skin hook the plastic. I don't know how much it helps but I fooled with a few plastic baits on that head and those 3 are the best and the only reason I include the lizard is a friend had told me to try it and we had a good day but it was late spring and we never had any other good days with but the beaver and bug seem to always get bit with that presentation.

Anything is good. While craw-types are my favorite, because when I use them, its the look I'm going for...I've heard people doing well with large flukes, and swimbaits. Just match what they are feeding on....

Lizards and brush hogs are great on that.

Finesse worms and rodents/beavers are my preference.

For the heavier one with larger hooks I have thrown a 10" curly tail worm.

iv used beavers, lizards, bugs, rage craws and smoking roosters

Any plastic you want.

Or, any plastic the bass want.

Great technique. I caught a bass on my first cast using a Biffle Bug.

All replies are correct so go ahead and have some fun.

I have not used them yet, but had a partner in tournament last year that was using R.I. Beavers on them and caught some nice fish. He used them in the fall, and was catching nice smallmouth when I, and wnybassman were hauling water on brown fish, I am adding them to my "stuff" this year.

I use the Biffle Bug or the Netbait Kickin' B and rig it texposed.

i just bought some of the hardheads last month.... i think i'm gonna try the damiki air craw.  seems like it would work well...the claws would stand up well with that.. i think??
