Not My Night
My favorite moments are when I tie on a new bait, and realize it wasn't the best knot, but I always think it will be okay. I then proceed to sail my bait 25 yards without my line attached to it...Happens to the best of us my man.

Worst Thing That Has Happened To You While Fishing?
Today I had a little kid run in front of my car so I had to slam the breaks and I skidded everywhere. I didn't hit the kid, but I did manage to put my nice 8 foot kayak clean through my windshield. Thank you god for insurance. Definitely could have been worse, but it still wasn't an ideal situation to have happen haha. The worst part is that I didn't even make it to my fishing spot.

How Can I Become A Better Overall Bass Angler?
Can't always believe "dock talk" hahahaha, and just throw something you usually don't throw. It can never hurt! Also when bass just cruise around it is sometimes a real pain to catch em. If you can sight fish this pond try and drop a lure right in front of the fish and try and go for a reaction bite.

How Can I Become A Better Overall Bass Angler?
I fish in a kayak regularly and my best advice to you is stick to smaller bodies of water that are easier to break down and just trust your got instinct. You will be surprised at how much your gut can tell you. If you look at something and instantly assume there could be fish there, there usually is. I'm not saying this is 100% correct because bass are weird little creatures that do their own thing, but I'm just saying. Reading also helps a lot. An old book that is really good is Roland Martin's 101 Bass Catching Secrets. It is a really good book! Cheers!

Safety Pin Idea To Hold Terminal Tackle
Hey guys, I know terminal tackle can sometimes become a major b#*^$% when storing it, but I found a really good idea from a video that I thought I would share. I bet many of you already know it. You use safety pins to hold all your sized hooks together and they don't lock up onto each other and stuff. I added a picture above. Cheers and tight lines!

Bait Caster Question
I think I'm going to go 20 lb. braided line and that should be awesome for the fishing I plan on doing. Thanks for all your answers!

Dressed Vs. Un-Dressed Mepps Spinners: Thoughts On ?
Usually when I throw my spinner-baits it is always undressed. I'm not dealing with monster bass in New Hampshire, so I assume the trailer would sometimes discourage the bass to hit my bait. I think it all depends on location, and how aggressive the bass are feeling.

Bait Caster Question

Bait Caster Question
I just feel like you can rip the bass out of the water without any fight at all, and that kind of takes the fun out of it for me.

Bait Caster Question
So this summer I plan on buying my first bait caster reel. I live in New Hampshire and I don't usually have to deal with insanely thick cover, but sometimes I come across cover I wouldn't be comfortable throwing my 8 lb. fluorocarbon line into, and also the fish aren't consistently huge in New Hampshire. I was wondering what line I would be considering to put on my reel. I've seen some people say I should be looking at 30 lb. braid, but I feel like that is a little excessive. Any advice would be awesome, and tight lines! Cheers.

What Music Do You Listen To While Fishing?
Now I know this won't apply to everyone because not everyone listens to music while fishing, and I enjoy peace and quiet as well, but on occasion I do enjoy a few tunes while out on the water. My favorite album to listen to would be the whole Stadium Arcadium album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I was just curious to what you guys listen to while fishing! Fish on!!

To Use Swivels Or Not To Use Swivels? That Is The Question
Thank you! I appreciate the advice and will look into those types of swivels. As of right now I use Eagle Claw ones I'm pretty sure.

New Member From Southern New Hampshire
Hey guys, so I am a new member of BR even though I have been on and off the site for about a year. I have only been fishing for around 2 years in total and I am absolutely addicted to it. Haven't caught too many big ones yet, but hopefully from what I learn from this site I will be able to catch the real lunkers. Regardless, I love fishing in general and any day on the water is a good day for me. Cheers!

To Use Swivels Or Not To Use Swivels? That Is The Question
One of the more controversial topics I hear about in Bass Fishing is the usage of swivels. Personally I use swivels because I don't have the money to spend on multiple set-ups, and I don't want to retie my line every time I want to throw something new. If I had the money to spend on multiple set-ups then I would probably not use swivels anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't like them. Many people say that a swivel, even a small swivel will ruin the action of any swim-bait, crank-bait or anything else. I don't believe this is true. I have used swivels for awhile now, and have no problem catching good fish. I'm just curious to here your personal opinions and where you stand in this argument.
