I just did some reading on that and your right its a whole new ball game as far as build quailty.. I have done a ton of reading until my vison blurred.Its one thing to read about it,and read the ads.Its another to talk to someone who has built/lived in one..Im getting the hell out of the city.I miss being able to see all the stars and being able to pee off my front porch..ok dont tell the wife that one..

i come from Arkansas and yep grew up around mobile homes,and like you said with a good strong wind they get VERY MOBILE....lol... from what i have read the modular homes are built in pieces and put up on site.NOT a mobile home..lol..any house i can tear apart with a claw hammer scares me..lol..

After years of getting the crap kicked out of me for the last 3 years im wrapping some things up and i am going to buy some land with a pond/lake. I have been looking hard at Manufactured/Modular homes as a way to put something up without costing a small fortune.If anyone has dealt with the good or bad of this type of home any feedback would be greatly appreciated.Before i began looking i had no clue of the dozens of builders and the thousands of options out there. The piece of property i have my eye on im looking at next week is 30 acres with a 7 acre lake thats 55ft deep on one end.Guy swears the bluegill are as big as Crappie..Also has a live creek across the top.So yeah im excited. I carry daily and have for years...even before it was legal ( heaven forbid,but like dad told me its better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6 ) I am a pussycat,i have always avoided pointless anger.I have nothing to prove and i find a lot of fights are truly just that,trying to prove who wont back down.When you carry you are held to a higher standard.Some of the simplest things can spiral out of control and turn deadly..Heck i read the news everyday and there is always some crazy news story about 'A realative shots another over the last piece of pizza'..so you can never tell how things will end up...so i avoid pointless confrontations.. now if the bacon hits the frying pan i have the resolve to do what needs to be done.

Truth be told 90% of what i have is older gear.I pick up stuff all the time from CL,yard sales..A lot of the new cranks look great but the 12 to 20 dollar price tag is tough. i want to start to OC out of comfort and im tired of buying clothes a little bigger than needed to do a clean CC..I never tell anyone when i carry,dont bump my weapon ( i have caught a lot of folks doing that ) against anything,when i carry i am the ultimate mellow fellow.When you carry here you are held to be more accountable,if a fight starts and you didnt walk away and you had the chance,then you will be charged. Now thats the opposite of how it works when your home..We have very tight laws about that.Have it framed in my gun room..We can stop them while they are trying to kick in the door,they do not have to gain access to you.If they try to car jack you,or even try to get in your tent you can defend yourself..but getting in a tinkle match and letting escalte and then use deadly force is frowned upon So yeah i am going to OC,and if asked i will hand over my ID..i am a clean sheet of paper and have no issue with letting the officer find that out by running my name..I get all the uproar over the whole ID issue but to be honest it doesnt concern ' ME ' just me if it concerns others ,well best of luck to them.

its supposed to have been garage kept...and i am trying to work out something to get it on the water. thanks for the tip on those seals..i asked about service on the motor and was told (of course) it has been cared for..i have a compression checker and he was fine with me doing that. One point that was made is i wanted something a little wider and longer,nothing is etched in stone will just have to see how it pans out.

I want something bigger than 12 ft....im thinking 1648 or 1752... What kind of Jon boats does anyone else have..trying to get good ideas on a good fishing set up.It will spend time on some shallow rivers and time on bigger lakes.Table Rock and the Lake Of the O' once in awhile. What size motor would be good for the size im looking for..? Im looking to go simple if i can less to maintain and less to break..
