I re-discovered the YCB Fat Ika this year. I forgot what a great bait that is. It was my third-most successful bait this year. More than once it was the only thing I could get bit on. I fish them weightless on a Gamakatsu 4/0 EWG hook with the skirt up, until after one fish its torn beyond belief then I switch it to skirt down.

Kershaw is finally looking like Kershaw. Dealing through 3.

What an addition Miller has been for the tribe. And Francona knows just how to use him. Mr. Showalter could learn a thing or two from him. I think Francona is managing himself into the HOF. Still pulling for the Dodgers though. I want to see Kershaw get a ring so he can go back to focusing on being one of the all time greats.

I acquired 2 bags of Yamamoto "Japan Only" 6" curly tail worms back in 2014. They were my number one bait that year until I used up the two bags which didn't take long considering they were Yamamotos. But wow did they catch fish. Two other YCB to try are the Kreature, and the curly tailed grub. Both excellent baits.

My favorite fall top water is also my favorite year-round topwater. Its a Rapala Skitter Walk thrown on a 6'6" medium fast rod and 6:1 reel.

From the guy who was thought to be hurt and almost left off the NLCS roster. And who hit .216 with 8 HR during the whole regular season. That's baseball for you. The stars of the postseason are rarely the same stars of the regular season. Crazy game.

One of my night fishing baits is a wacky rigged 7" senko.

What I meant was "I've never caught a bass on topwater in water colder than 55 degrees." I've caught plenty of bass in cold water on other things.

And the Expos are eliminated!

Seems like in all sports the coach is always the first to go when there is an issue with no tangible solution. I certainly think the manager has a big effect of how the players perform on the field, but I think it takes a lot less to get them fired then they can actually control.
