  1. Lebron did not lose these Finals! Golden State WON these Finals!
  2. All of those stats mean nothing? You are confused kid. So basically you're saying he should have won, against the best regular season team who are fully healthy and have the most depth of any team by far and against the regular season MVP, regardless of if his team is shaky at best? You're trying to reach for something to hate on him for but you don't make sense in your argument. The reason he put up those numbers, is because he had nobody, and he took the GS Warriors to 6 games. Lebron did anything but choke. He proved to the world 2 things; basketball is a team sport, and Lebron James is the most talented player at the TEAM SPORT of basketball on the planet. He literally could not have choked any less. When I saw the title of this thread I thought for sure it was a joke. If you're going to hate on Lebron, do it for his arrogance, whiny-ness and his search for a "ready-made championship squad" this offseason. But to say he choked is literally false.
  3. I'm not a Lebron fan by any means. But to take away from what he did these Finals is ridiculous. So if Lebron choked, what would he have to do for you to consider him not having choked?
  4. Biggest of the year so far.
  5. This 4-pounder posed nicely.
  6. I use 20lb braid with an 18" 25lb fluorocarbon leader.
  7. I always use a small red glass bead on my T-rigs. I don't really feel like it makes too much of a difference, but I do it anyway. Looks cooler to me I guess lol
  8. This is going to be a great series. From what I've heard, Irving will be far from 100%. So look for Lebron to be on point duty almost exclusively. Glad to see Klay Thompson will be good for game 1, as I'm rooting for GS. I think this will go to at least 6, and like every game Lebron James plays, the deciding factor will be whether or not he can be contained. The runner up for DPOY Draymond Green will be guarding him, and I'm sure Barnes and Thompson will split some minutes defending him as well. I cant wait for tip-off.
  9. A few from the last week or so. 17.5'' 17.5'' A few smallies showed up. I even got a handful of browns saturday morning.
  10. As much as I hate to say it....5'' Watermelon w/ black flake GYCB Senko.
  11. In your context; definitely- I am without a doubt going to buy one of those. defiantly- I am going to buy one of those even though someone doesn't want me to. LOL
  12. Lamprey bite by the looks of it
  13. Like Scott F said, small northerns often have connected spots that can appear as a stripe. This fish is without a doubt 100% northern pike. The coloration is perfect, but the pattern is a bit misleading due to the age of the pike.
  14. It's a young pike, I've caught dozens that size with identical markings and color. Dark body, light markings = pike. Light body, dark markings = muskie.
  15. 2 of the better fish from the weekend. Rapala Skitterwalk Senko

This post is exactly what I meant. It gets boring if there is no "action", but if you understand and appreciate the cognitive side of baseball, the WHOLE game is action. Sure it's not like football with guys mashing each other, but I don't need such visual stimulation to hold my attention. The action in baseball doesn't come in bursts if you at all understand the cognitive aspect of the sport. Baseball is not just a sport. It's also a game, and it can draw many similarities with something like Chess. Baseball is the truly the greatest sport, and nothing else combines individual competition, team-based play, and a heavy dose of calculated strategy and cognition like baseball.
  17. From what I've heard, you can't beat Wisconsin or Minnesota, although NY is pretty good with the Adirondacks and all. But if I had a choice of what state to go to for an outdoor adventure, I choose Alaska.

In order to be able to watch and enjoy baseball, you need to understand and appreciate the cognitive aspect. It's a brain game through and through, which is why it's losing popularity in the U.S. Not many people understand or care to understand baseballs details which make up the whole competition. People see baseball as "hit ball with stick", so when guys aren't smashing 450 ft home runs every at-bat, they get bored. Baseball is far from simple, and understanding it certainly requires another level of thinking than other sports.

    It's baseball season.
  20. Art isn't a fad/trend. Its been around since the beginning of civilization. The only difference is the canvas is your body. Art will always be art, no matter what its created upon
  21. Actually from a purely scientific prospective, in a controlled environment it may be possible for any animal to starve to death if it is conditioned to associate pain or danger with the act of feeding. This has nothing to do with the "smartness" of the bass, just the opposite actually. Bass can't think, make decisions or reason. Purely instinctual.
  22. I can't believe how fast things are happening this year. Water temps around 70 already. Did pretty good over the weekend though.
  23. I think everybody is confused about what the word "free" means. Sponsors don't give out free stuff to ANYBODY. Sponsorships are give-and-take. If you promote a company, and in return you receive product from the company you are promoting, then what is free about that? You paid with your time and effort, just like any job in the world. Let's say for the sake of this argument that my boss pays me in apples, not cash. So after a long day of work my boss pays me my apples. Now, since I didn't personally go buy those apples, were they free? No! I worked for those apples. I paid for them with my time and effort. Sponsorship is no different. Saying this kid wants sponsorships just for free stuff is the same as saying you only go to your job for the free cash. Now how many of you would work your jobs if you didn't get paid?
  24. Dismal? You better check your pulse man! With so many players performing at an elite level and the round 1 matchups, its gonna be intense. The Warriors are playing amazing basketball, and so are the Hawks in the East. Both so much fun to watch. And round 1 in the west in Warriors/Pelicans, so Anthony Davis vs. Stephen Curry. You can't tell me you're not excited to watch those two MVP candidates face each other. With the way Curry, Harden, Davis, and Lebron are playing, it should be wild. And of course you can't forget about the Senior Squad in SA! You can never count them out. The ONLY thing that could make these playoffs better would be getting to see Russ Westbrook continue his rampage. This is gonna be nothing short of intense!
  25. There is a word for that. Ignorance. Utter ignorance.
