  1. Baby Rage Craws, and 10" Culprit Ribbon-tails.
  2. I hear you completely. Although I would never stop fishing and sell my gear, this year has been very tough for me as well. Last year was great, but this year is nothing like it. Size and numbers are way down for me this year. I'm just gonna blame the long winter and mild summer. Makes me feel a little better.
  3. Just after 5am last July. Fog was insanely thick.
  4. Currently I'm using: 8lb Berkley Trilene mono 20lb Spiderwire Stealth braid 40lb Power Pro braid
  5. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/143384-what-is-the-biggest-bass-you-have-ever-caught/
  6. Caught my PB in less than 1' of water. A spot that was normally dry, until a rainstorm made the water rise.
  7. I got some Culprit love! My favorite worm is the Culprit 10", and I love the Fat Maxes as well.
  8. I used to only fish for smallmouth, so 8lb mono was all I fished. But now that I fish for largemouth, 90% of my time is spent throwing to logs, branches or thick weeds. In these situations I feel much more comfortable with braid, so I opt for 40lb Power Pro.
  9. This summer it's been all about big ribbon-tail worms. 10" Culprits and Zoom Ol Monsters.
  10. Nothing of that size, but its a pretty productive spot when its submerged.
  11. Biggest bass I have ever caught was last year. It was 20.5" and a little over 5 lbs. It was about 5:00am in July, VERY foggy and dead calm. I casted a 5" watermelon senko into a spot that was normally on the bank, but because of a recent rainstorm this spot was now in about 6" of water. As soon as the senko hit the water it was taken. The second I looked at it I knew it was my new PB.
  12. Pliers, scissors, nail clippers, line conditioner, tape measure, scale, sunscreen, bug repellant, hand-warmers, gloves (both latex and working, mainly for toothy fish), polarized sunglasses, wide-mouthed bottles (for obvious reasons), rags or towels, baby wipes, lighter. Those are all the items I keep in my tackle bag.
  13. Yep, first thing I noticed when I went out fishing Sunday. It's only August, but here it feels like October already.
  14. Definitely poppers, and more specifically a Storm Chugbug. Not my most productive, but it's my favorite way to catch a bass.
  15. Favorite actor is either Will Smith or James Franco, both awesome and versatile actors. And my favorite actress is probably Emmy Rossum, but not just because of her acting ability. Haha
  16. Turtles I would guess. I've had them bite plastic worms clean in half.
  17. Nice smallies. Glad to see someone catching em. This summer continues to suck for me. Managed only 2 15" largemouth in a couple hours yesterday morning.
  18. I'm watching Seattle vs. Detroit, and its Felix Hernandez against David Price. Should be an epic duel!
  19. I have a few Booyahs and Live Targets as well, and don't have an issue.
  20. The the legs/frilly stuff melts on all my Spro frogs, not with any other brand I have though.
  21. Due to logs, branches and Northern Pike, I think I lose them quicker than I replenish them unfortunately. Luckily I have some coming soon.
  22. Wow what a beautiful smallie. Man I miss catching those.
  23. Strange Wilderness
