  1. For me, its right before or as the sun comes up. During summer, its long after dark.
  2. He did a good job limiting the damage, but yeah he ins't quite the same as he has been.
  3. Uh oh...Arrieta not lookin so sharp in the 4th.
  4. Not a fan of either team, but I LOVE watching Cubs-Cards baseball.
  5. Arrieta has so much swagger right now. His expressions and body language just says "I am the best, and you're not gonna hit this. But you can try."
  6. Who saw Chase Utley's "slide"? That was the most Busch League thing I've ever seen. No, of course Utley wasn't trying to hurt Tejada. But as a veteran and a 2nd baseman himself, that was so utterly ridiculous and uncalled for. Now he has the nerve at appeal the suspension. If you ask me, this is a big ugly stain on Utley's otherwise awesome career.
  7. The reason the wild-card game is only 1 game is because that makes it more important to win your division. Arrieta is an absolute beast right now. I'm predicting Cubs, Jays with Toronto taking it all.
  8. I love all six of them. Its hard to choose between them. But I don't have very high hopes for the new ones that Disney is gonna squeeze out.
  9. Yep! Had it happen to me for the first time this year. Got these guys on a Storm Chugbug.
  10. When my line snaps that quickly, its usually the result of a "bite-off" from a Northern Pike or Pickerel.
  11. Do people still listen to the radio?
  12. I remember the first bass that I thought was big at the time like it was yesterday. I was 4 years old fishing with my dad and I landed a bass that looked huge! I was so excited and I say to my dad: "Hey Dad! How much do you think it weights? Like 80 pounds?!?" My dad replies with a perfectly straight face: "Nah, probably about 2". It was a HUGE disappointment to 4 year old me.
  13. My favorite popper!
  14. Had a first for me happen last night. I did some shore fishing from the small pond at my parents camp. I had a popper tied on and during the second cast something sucked it under. I hooked it, and it thrashed on the surface once then started tugging hard. I thought I had a real nice bass on the line just because of the weight and how hard it was tugging. When I banked it, this is what I find: Never caught two fish on one cast before, especially not on top water. I got 3 bass, all on a Storm chugbug in about 30 minutes of fishing.
