Tendenitis in casting arm
I got tendonitis in both wrists after having kids (right wrist for first one, left wrist for second). Apparently I hold babies wrong. Osteo Bi-flex Tripple Strength!!! I swear by it. One in the morning, one at night, every day. If I'm going to be gone overnight, I take them with me. After 2 weeks of continuous use, you will notice a difference. After a year, all of my symptoms are gone. Also helps with knees. I've tried cheaper Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplements, but always go back to the Osteo Bi-flex. Again. I swear by it.

Night Fishing - Bright Vs. Dark Nights
Yeah, this all still blows me away. Good stuff. Thank you MFBAB for this thread, and A-Jay for kicking this all off with your earlier thread. So, summer solstice tonight = BIG BRIGHT MOON! I had a crazy evening before sundown (like, once-a-year crazy), and am getting ready to head back out for some high moon action. I WON'T be throwing topwater though! Thinking I'll try a keel weighted worm and a swim jig around grass.

Yes, and yes!

How do you fish the post spawn in a fairly shallow water?
Bass love salad! Fish the vegetation... the type of veggies will dictate how.

Night Bassing ~ A-Jay's Version
Great writeup! I'm a bit perplexed by the "less moonlight is better" philosophy. Am I correct in that this is mainly a necessity for stealth, or do you think fish are hungrier when there is no moon? I ONLY fish during a bright moon. Most of the water I fish is stained, and I usually stay on shore so boat shadows aren't an issue.

Whopper Plopper Help
I've heard the same as above. That's why I bought the 130. I'm still not having much luck with my WP. :/

My t-shirt. Might lick the lens first if it's real dirty.

Larger bass / prime location in a pond
Don't count out the pennywort!. If there's at least a foot of water under it, it can make for some nice comfy lounging for a big fat bass. Go punching!

Hooking Yourself
I read this entire thread... couldn't stop myself... regret every second of it. Now I've got that weird pain in my "begonias". Thanks guys.

Not a bad one either!

Central Open - En Route!
Ended up finishing 89 out of 195 - not bad considering I got skunked today. My pro on day 2 didn't weigh a fish this tournament, and Tommy ended up getting skunked today too. Water was way up, and combined with weird weather and a week of fishing pressure, the bite was hard to find for most. Many of the limits required a 130 mile round trip in dangerous water. I take some solace in the fact that so many people struggled... including the pros. See, we ALL have bad days! That being said, absolutely INCREDIBLY awesome experience!

Central Open - En Route!
Kid you not - I am paired with Tommy Martin tomorrow! Hope the weather holds up... Good call.

Central Open - En Route!
All packed up and ready to go! Driving to Muskogee in the morning for my first ever Bassmaster Open as a co-angler. Fished local tourneys before my two girlies were born... this will be my first tournament in about 4 years. Decided to go big. What an honor to fish among Rick Clunn, Greg Hackney, Cliff Pace, Tommy Biffle, Jason Christie, Gary Yamamoto, and many others. Name another sport where a random IT guy from Oklahoma, with no professional experience or ties, can compete in the same event as the world's best. So cool. Anyone else going?

top water bait wrist pain
I developed tendonitis in both wrists after my little girls were born... apparently I hold babies wrong. For a while was quite painful while fishing. Get you some Glucosamine supplements with Chondroitin... Osteo Bi Flex Triple Strength is my go-to. I noticed significant relief after about 2 weeks of usage and won't leave home without it now.

Looking for a tutor for large mouth bass fishing in deep reservoir
I think it's fascinating looking at lake imagery when they are low... https://goo.gl/maps/tsydJ3sQSvu 1) I see lots of docks. You could spend all day fishing docks... especially those near the channel. 2) Devil's Bluff. There are always fish around bluffs. 3) The water looks really stained on Google... is that still the case? If so, forget about how deep the lake is, your catchable fish are still going to be mostly shallow. Just need to find what cover/structure they are relating to.

What are these called?
Oh yeah... I'll never forgive my parents for the summer we boiled hundreds of catalpa worms and rolled them in an egg/cornbread batter. Most disgusting thing i've ever done. Coincidentally, we caught more catfish that year than any other year of my childhood.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Been a really bad month for me... getting ready to fish in a Central Open and have probably spent $100 on square bills. :/ A Whopper Plopper and Spro Little John alone cost me almost $30! DANG YOU BAIT MONKEY!

Trailer or no trailer on bladed swim jigs?
I feel like this has been settled! Thread hi-jack: What about spinnerbaits? I would consider a spinnerbait a confidence lure for me, yet I rarely use a trailer (or trailer hook). I usually go with a longer skirt, or one that has the long strands down the middle, and call it good.

Summer Time Lure
T-rigged plastics. One rod and a bag of various plastics with hooks, weights and beads is all you need.

Catch all lure?
x2 for In-line spinner. Rooster Tail is my favorite. And I have caught several catfish on them.
