Wow this one really got me thinking. I had a two person ocean kayak and dont use a pfd. I bring military ones with me in the plastic that you have to pull a cord to activate and to be honest they're so old I don't know if they even work. I always make the kids wear actually life vests but what good are they if I'm not able to swim them back to shore? Guess on top of a new tackle box, and two new rod and reel combos and a new filet board I better add life jacket to the top of that list. Thank you.

Love me some fishin in the rain. Last year labor day weekend I was fishing the spillway on one side of the lake catching monsters in a downpour other side of the lake was clear and a local bar at sunset started letting off fireworks to beat the rain before it got there. Nothing like reeling on a monster with fireworks going off from a perfect vantage point. Moment I'll never forget.

Sorry if this has been visited before but I access this site on a windows phone and their are a lot of red xs over things so I cant locate the search function. But besides fishing I do a lot of buying and selling. Everything from antiques to video games. So I was wondering while I'm out scouring garage sales, estate sales, and auctions what makes old tackle worth money? Are there brands or certain style old baits worth more than others? Wow you make me feel good. I thought I was going over board but for just starting again you are putting me to shame. The wife would kill me of my box looked like that. But I am beyond jealous. Love the frog baits. Amazing set though. I need a friend with a set up like that who will let me use some haha I've got the biggest selection of all my friends and I'm constantly losing it because I fish with my kids, wife and beginners a lot so I'm nervous to offer and lose too much variety

Shad is kinda cool. So what of its a bait fish.
