Spinnerbait Questions For Ya..
They really can produce all summer long. They can produce on lakes and rivers, and there aren't many baits that can cut through weeds like Spinnerbaits can. I have really gotten away from throwing them in the last few years but will make it a point to utilize them more this season. I like to throw on a trailer hook for those short strikes and extra confidence that the fish will stay buttoned up. I usually throw a 3" Grub on the trailer hook to bulk up the profile a bit.

Invasive Species Testing Required Next Year For Mn
Wow, I heard some rumors about this going into action but this is the first I'm hearing about it being official!

River2Sea S-Waver
I have been eyeing up these baits for a bit! The pictures make me think I should pull the trigger and test out a few.

Favorite Dropshot Bait?
I fish a lot of different baits on a dropshot in the Midwest but last year one I grew fond of was a 4" Wacky Rigged Lake Fork Ring Fry.

Fluke Presentations?
I have experimented with adding a weighted swimbait hook to my flukes and it kills the action for me. I feel like I need to burn it in because any pause will make the fluke fall too fast (imo). I have never tried the double fluke but that will probably be my next variation to throwing a standard fluke. Especially when the smallies are schooled up!

Kvd Squarebills In The Fall?
I picked up a couple of Bomber Square A's last night. They appear to run a bit shallower than the KVD 1.5 but I definitely will be trying them soon! Get some of both. There's been times when the rattle is the key and then there are times where a silent crank is what the fish want.

Kvd Squarebills In The Fall?
Thanks for all the input on squarebill brands! I will definitely have to check some out. Fished side by side a 6th Sense Squareill w/ a rattle and it outfished the silent KVD's. I wish we had more wood and stumps up here in the North but there is hardly any. Thankfully Squarebills get hammered when you rip it from grass/weeds though. That bait looks awesome. I've thrown the 10XD before and now the 8.0 has my attention! Let me know how your success is with the 8.0

Kvd Squarebills In The Fall?
When it comes to Fall Bass fishing I often turn to Crankbaits to put fish in the boat. Often times I find myself throwing a lipless crankbait, DT-6 or DT10 but a friend reminded me that Squarebill's can be deadly in the fall as well. The fishing was slow on this particular day but I was able to manage a 16" bass and a healthy 18" 3.5lb bass on a KVD 1.5. Who else uses Squarebills in the Fall? If so, what brand do you prefer?

Where Are The Minnesotans?
I should be fishing on the St. Croix River this weekend. With a cold front coming I will probably be using tubes, dropshots, and jigs to slowly fish for Smallies!

Minnesota Bass
I was able to sneak in some fishing over Labor Day weekend. I took the kayak out to a lake I haven't been on in 10 years. The water was quite clear so the shallows were choked out with weeds. The DNR was actually out spraying Milfoil that same day. I found a deep weedline where the fish were stacked up and was able to pick them apart with a Drop Shot and a Deep Crankbait.

Pb Smallie(S)
Thanks guys, not sure why the pictures came out sooo big!

Pb Smallie(S)
This past weekend I fished Lake Vermilion for the first time, my GF's family has a Cabin on Big Bay. The walleyes were pretty elusive for us (except for off the dock) so we decided to cast shorelines and structure for Smallies and Pike. My GF, Kerri, got her PB Smallie (first fish of the day) on Saturday and on Sunday while casting docks I was able to set my new PB - 17 3/4" and healthy.

Yup, that's a great starting point!

Anyone Fished Around Siren, Wisconsin?
I have a cabin just north of there in Danbury and I do a lot of fishing up that way. I haven't fished the Siren area but there are no shortage of lakes with bass in them in that neck of the woods! I think you'll have some fun.

Where Are The Minnesotans?
Another for the Greenhorn Bass Series, Pan-O-Prog Tourney on Lake Marion, some B-Dawgin Bass Series events, and possibly some Thorne Bro's Mystery Tournaments.

Plano Guide Series 3700
3500 series boxes are smaller (I see them as Panfish/Trout lure holders), 3600 series are an all around size where you can fit panfish lures as well as a lot of bass stuff, and then the 3700 series are meant for your larger lures (Bass/Pike). If you check the website or google it, you can see the size comparison and differences. No worries man!

Plano Guide Series 3700
Great minds....

Plano Guide Series 3700
Looking good! I have the 3600 and love it. I would have upped for the 3700 but I wanted to use the 3600 size boxes so I can interchange them with my tackle bag for my kayak. There is nothing better than having extra room that you need to fill! I like the idea of how you labeled each box. I have all my boxes organized but that would make it even faster to find what I'm looking for. For a little additional space (maybe room for another box) you might look into putting your weights and hooks into a shallow 3600 box. (1/2 the depth of the 3650 - I think the model is the 3601).

Check Your Local Wallyworld
I went last week and my Walmart didn't have anything either!

Frabill F-Series Storm Gear
Does anybody have any first hand experience with these rainsuits (F2 Surge, F3 Gale, or F4 Cyclone)? I'm in the market for some new rain gear this year and I was eyeing up these rain suits. They are a pretty new product so I haven't read much for reviews/opinions on these (what I have read has been good). I know a lot of people who liked the FXE which came out a few years ago so i'd imagine these are similar in quality (if not better) but I'd like to hear some first hand accounts if anyone has tried them.

First Time Using A Curado
I picked one of those up a few years ago and really liked it out of the box. I use it on a froggin' rod with 50lb braid and I feel like I can send that thing a mile, it's smooth, and I can horse bass through the thick stuff.

Jig Colors
I would make whatever color you want and see you successful they are for you. I tend to buy mostly browns/greens/blacks for my football jigs - with the mindset being that they are meant to resemble crayfish. When choosing swim jig colors I tend to buy up some brighter colors (white, pink/white, bluegill colors, etc.)

Berkley Havoc Subwoofer

Red Eye Shad Hooks
That's good to know! I throw those often and need to replace a few bent hooks.
