  1. Hey everyone, I see that everyone has there PB under there picture, but do you have a picture of your PB! Here is mine, I didn't have a scale but it would have weighed in at 5.50lbs. I wish I had of gotten a picture of it's belly to show girth!
  2. Any of the Shimano Cumaras. Right at that price range. I personally love the grips and it feels great fishing the whole day.
  3. What material do you use? Sewing a pair up wouldn't be that hard and I would think pretty d**n cheap.
  4. Hey does anyone know where I could get like 5 cheap rod gloves? Looking for 2 spinners and 3 baitcasters. All over 7 feet other then 1 baitcaster at 6'6". Thanks, J
  5. A lot of high priced companies build the low price stuff. I have bought a $2.99 jerkbait from Cabela's that suspense great and has great action and then I have bought higher priced stuff that doesn't do what the $2.99. I would say if you see something you like buy it and go from there. If the product is go continue to buy from that brand even though it might cost half the price. Price doesn't always dictate quality.
  6. Is there anywhere that I can get a list of lakes I'm Canada? Like on the site?
  7. The taco bell combo comment! But that is crazy it didn't look like it broke down at all while in his stomach
  8. Hey everyone! Just got my lowrance unit. Just have a quick question. When the time comes should I hook it up to my trolling motor battery or my cranking battery. I have no idea how much this unit draws in power and even if I did I truly wouldn't understand. So which battery should I hook it up to, Trolling or Cranking. Thanks, Jeff
  9. My problem has always been getting Jerkbaits down deep so I'm hoping with the slow sinking on this it will help keep the bait deep when jerked
  10. Hey, I haven't really been a huge fan of Rapalas tackle, I mean we all have our favourites but this Jerkbait has caught my eye! Great action and a lot of great colours. What do you guys think about it? I'm really liking the Deep diving one (4-8ft). My favourite colours are Bud, Ghost and Albino shiner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x76REd35e2E J
  11. Thanks and I have checked Ebay a few times and havent seen any deals year. There is still a month or so away from the season so I will hold off maybe. Thanks J
  12. Hey I thought the Bassmaster Classic was being streamed this year. Does anyone know where (website, Facebook, etc.) Can't wait to watch it! Thanks
  13. This has been a great help! I will forsure check out the HMG and with the thinner handle it might be what I am looking for. Thanks for the great help.
  14. I was looking to stay around the 100 dollar mark give or take. If I could find a used Cumara for a 150 I would pull the trigger really fast on it but it's slim pickings. Where do you guys buy your used rods? J
  15. That's the rod I was looking at. I find the reel seat to be bulk. Looking for something similar to the Cumara. Nice low profile.
  16. Hey sorry about that looking for a spinning setup
  17. Hey guys, I'm looking for a 7'2" medium action, fast tip for unweighted worms or flukes etc. I was looking at a Shimano compre because I love my shimano Cumara (got it for an amazing deal). When I was hold the compre the handle is think unlike the Cumara but the action I know what to expect. So my question is, is there a 7'2" medium action fast tip with a thinner handle that you would recommend. Thanks, J
  18. Great thanks for all of your help! I went on to Navionics website to see what card I can get. I will head over to Cabela's to confirm everything. Thanks a lot for the help Wayne!
  19. It does include Canada as well and the great lakes. and My previous post I did mean $199.00, thats my mistake. I only really fish a few lakes in my tournaments so 2Gs should be enough unless the maps are huge but I can't see that. I will pop in to the Cabela's and see what they have to say.
  20. Great thanks, I looked at the Navionics website and the card will run me like 100 bucks. that would be for all of the contours and what not that you are talking about correct.
  21. So some come pre loaded with mapping on it?
  22. Hey everyone, so I'm new to electronics and have only used the not so handy one take came with the boat (17 ft smoker craft). Anyways I'm looking to upgrade to a Lowrancr Elite-5FISHFINDER / CHARTPLOTTER. Just a quick questions, why do I have to buy Navionics Chip? Don't the unit already come with maps on it. Or you don't have to buy it but it's worth the 200 price tag for the upgraded maps. Any help would be great! Thanks J
  23. I have two Lew's one with a carbon fiber handle (came with the bait baster wasn't add on later) and the other with just the regular handle. To be honest there is no difference other then the carbon fiber handle I believe is a little larger. It's more of a "hey look at that handle" then anything else. I wouldn't upgrade to carbon fiber if the stop one it wasn't broken/bent. J
  24. No problem. If you end up getting some let me know how they are.
