  1. Hey guys haven't been on BassResource in a while but just wanted to get back on and see what you guys are catching them on. Haven't been doing great lately and just need some tips on what baits you guys are using, any feedback is greatly appreciated.
  2. Don't worry about the rambling I found it very helpful, thanks!
  3. I have thrown the 6 inch Hudd and it will produce fish. I have caught many fish on the little hudds but mainly fish the 6 inch. It will produce fish and mostly 4 pounds and up. Sometimes you have to have patience because it's such a big bait but once you have confidence it will catch you fish. If your not worried about catching numbers and are looking to catch the big ones the 6 inch is a good choice.
  4. I've been doing similar except not as big. Only good ones recently would be 3#'s. Caught 4 yesterday in 30 minutes on a Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver in Dirty Sanchez (Light green and pumpkin color). Caught some on flukes, senkos, swim jigs, and a few on the strike king denny brauer jig. How are you fishing your black and blue jig? Black and blue is supposedly a good color but I never really do that good with baits that I fish that are black/blue.
  5. Hey guys haven't been on bassresource in a while except for looking up techniques and stuff. My brother caught another big bass that weighed 10 pounds 10 ounces. He caught it on the Huddleston Deluxe 6 inch trout swimbait in blue shad color. I cant upload pictures here due to size limit but if anyone is interested in checking out the bass here is the link.
  6. Hey bassresource just wondering if you guys knew any good baits or known baits that are good on a hot spring day. Today seemed to be the hottest day yet and I was wondering what I should throw.
  7. the scale was saying 7.5 pounds but I think it's bigger
  8. My brother caught another huge one this month...Went fishing this morning with a friend and around 9:30 we hopped to this small pond and 3 casts caught 3 fish. My friend first casted and caught a nice 3 pounder on a Berkely Pit Boss texas rigged. My brother then casted (berkley Pit boss) and set the hook with what seemed like bottom LOL. After a tough fight we landed him and it was HUGE. My friend was so excited he decided to take another cast while we still had the big one on land and catches another one! It jumps out of the water and seems to be a nice one. We land it and it is atleast 4.5-5 pounds. Our adrenaline was pumping so much from fish after fish and not small ones either. Kind of jealous of my brother lol I want to break my pb this season and he's already caught two giant ones.
  9. What baits would you or do keep in your confidence box? What baits do you always go to when nothing else is working?
  10. On Saturday my brother, father, friend and I caught a total of 20 under 2 hours. I was fishing a Berkley Havoc Pit Boss, my friend was using a Strike King swim jig with a craw trailer, my dad was using a Zoom speed craw texas rigged, and my brother was using a Gambler Ugly Otter. I have a question if any one knows, once the fish are done bedding and they are ready to feed, where can they be located and feeding on what?
  11. Anyone every fish Lake underhill? If so what did you throw or catch them on?
  12. Texas rig any plastic. My brother and I caught a total of 13 today fishing a golf course pond. I used a texas rigged zoom lizard and he used swimbait and a jerkbait.
  13. Caught 3 today on a spinnerbait with the biggest being about 3 pounds. My brother caught 4 on a huddleston with the biggest being about 3 pounds also. What pther baits are you guys catching them on?
  14. Been catching a lot on frogs also in Orlando. I have also caught them on texas rigged creature baits (craws, ugly otters, etc.) I've been meaning to throw a senko but I read spinnerbaits are good on windy days and it was really windy today.
  15. Nice fish guys, I definitely wanna try throwing some brush hogs and see how they do in these ponds over here. My brother and I caught a few today with him having the biggest one of about 5 pounds at least. It was a nice chunky healthy fish. He caught it on Stanley Ribbit top toad. I will attach video in a few days when it is edited.
  16. Been catching a lot of bass on flukes.
  17. Well guys got some great news. If any of you have been following this thread you will have seen I pulled a huge 6 pounder out of this new spot I found. It proved itself to be good fishing but today is where it really proved to be good fishing. My brother pulled out a GIANT bass today. He caught it on a Stanley Ribbit frog as you will see in pictures there are lily pads every where. I think it's safe to say this spot is a honey hole. My scale has been acting weird for 3 big fish i've caught and I just don't think it's being accurate. I want you guys to tell me how big you guys think this bass is. Later once I have edited the video I will post the video of the fight and I will tell you the length and girth including what the scale read. Thank you for any feedback on what you guys think this bass weighs. I will attach the original photos and the photos zoomed in for better viewing.
  18. Lou are you guys still doing those competitions for Florida ? Cause If so I definitely want to be apart of it lol.
  19. Gonna go try to find this other pond in the forest I saw on google earth. Will report back later on how it goes.
  20. Do I just do a steady retrieve or am I popping it up and off the ground and stuff
  21. What kind of trailers do you guys like to use for swim jigs?
  22. Do you guys like to throw certain baits when it's windy? Just curious because it is pretty windy today in Orlando and I will be going fishing later on. I know some people say spinnerbaits are good on windy days. Is topwater good on windy days?
  23. If anyone was interested here is the video of me fishing the canal with the video of the 6 pounder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3OZoHS30bU
